Love this reel
This reel works great, looks good, amazing build quality, high capacity to hold a lot of line, easy to tune so you can prevent backlash, and is easy to cast when paired with the right rod.

Great reel but..
So I needed a saltwater baitcaster and didn't want to spend real money a baitcaster so I decided to get a very budget friendly baitcaster and see how long one will last.This one arrived and I am impressed with the Torrent 2. Everthing is well engineered and love the the size of the cranking handle. The one con I have is the shaft that holds the cranking handle/ internal gears us a little lose and moves in and out like a shim or bearing isn't to spec. and leaves a little sloppy movement in the cranking handle. This is Not a major problem as when fishing with the reel I dont notice it at all but my COD constantly makes think about it everytime I use it. For $30.00 it is a great reel.

WOW its that good.
Immediately impressed. First cast very minimal tweaking of the tension and 0 backlash again and again. Really punches way above its price tag. Buy it.

Great so far!
I did have to disassemble and grease/lube it as it was dry as hell. After that I’d put it right up side by side with my lew reel that I paid $120 for. Great quality. Hope it last!

Piscifun is the REEL deal!!
This reel blows my $200 Bass Pro Shop baitcaster outta the water!! I’ll buy Piscifun reels for life now!! Crazy good quality for relatively cheap price!! Thing casts a mile. One thing I would change is the reels handles. They are just a tad too big.

Well worth the money but not 20lbs worth of drag.
Stupid cheap, yet stupid good quality. From weightless trickworms to monster buzz baits, it'll cast it. Not sure about a 4ft 10lb swim bait, but it's not exactly designed for them anyway. The only reason for 4 stars is the 20lb drag ratting is exaggerated because it slips popping a 3/8oz jig off the bottom if you jerk hard enough, even with the drag locked down. Plenty enough to not worry about a big bass, and it seems smooth too, but 20lbs is definitely a bit more than it really has.
