Buying a screen for the Keeper (DM or GM) is usually straightforward, but Chaosium wouldn’t be satisfied with just throwing a screen onto store shelves. The included materials would be the equivalent of the excellent boxed sets (or at least, a miniature version of them) that TSR used to release for their D&D campaign settings back before Wizards of the Coast took it over. Chaosium is returning value to the player in the form of materials that are actually useable. Nothing that is included are useless props or throwaway extras. You’ll get plenty of use out of everything included. The screen itself — which is probably your primary reason for buying — is beautiful, with gorgeous artwork facing out, and all necessary vitals for the Keeper ergonomically laid out on the inside. The screen is made of quality thick card stock, so there’s no need to worry about strength, and everything is easy for the Keeper to both find and read. It’s the extra materials packed with the screen that impress me so much. Aside from the screen, this pack includes two ready-to-play adventures (scenarios), 12 pre-generated player characters (investigators) and 3 full color maps of the areas pertaining to the adventures. All are well-designed with stylish layouts, and are written to accommodate both new and veteran Keepers. If I’ve got any complaints, I wish it were packed a bit better. It’s fine when you first get it, as it comes shrink wrapped, but it’s only held together by a thin bottom-half layer of card and a glossy paper cover. The outer protection isn’t designed to use over and over, so you’ll definitely want to find a sturdier place to store the contents once it’s been opened. But aside from that nitpick, this product is a must for both new and veteran Keepers. Review: Great product - I ordered the keepers screen but didn’t receive the handouts. I contacted Chaosium 3 months after I received the order when I found out that it came with the two scenarios. Within 8 hours after I sent my email not only did I get a reply that they were shipping a replacement, I got a second email letting me know the replacement was on the way. Chaosium customer service is second to none. Every product I have purchased from them has been top notch quality. As a first time keeper the support has been great.

Better than I could have expected.
Ok so I admit I didn’t read too much of the description, I wanted a gym screen that would have the important info printed along the inside and I didn’t want to have to make my own. This fills that requirement, and then just keeps going. It also comes with several character sheets, a reference booklet full of useful tables and an index for where things are located in the core rulebook, a foldout map of earth with mythos sites marked, a foldout map of Massachusetts from 1922, a foldout map of the city of Arkham, and a booklet containing two separate adventures for your players to experience including maps, handouts, and pre generated characters. I cannot express enough how wonderful this product ended up being for myself and my group. Worth every penny.

Very good information.
I just ran my first game of The Call of Cthulhu and this screen was a life saver. The extra content is excellent, and now I'm planning on running one of the extra adventures that was provided with it. Very recommended.

Quality was good, but. . .
While the quality of the paper, printing and editing was great, the package had the wrong handouts. They appear to be for adventures other than those provided with the kit. No biggie - I'm still a CoC fan.

Such a cool, quality product for the money. I've had several screens for various games over the years and nothing compares to this. Well packaged in a cover slip and held together in a cardboard sleeve it comes with two booklets, various maps and quality Investigator sheets. The three section screen itself is of thick, heavy duty card with a matt finish. The outer displays great atmospheric artwork whilst the inside has various essential and very usable charts and tables. The first of the booklets is a handy 16 page 'Keeper References' containing charts and tables. The second booklet contains the 'Missed Dues and Blackwater Creek' modules and is nicely printed. Flicking through it you can tell the scenarios are well laid out and contain 12 pre-rolled character sheets ready for 'jump straight in' mode. The three main maps are all A2 size and include Arkham, the Miskatonic Country area of Massachusetts and a split global map interesting named 'The Earth, The Great Old Ones' Dark Prize'. All are coloured and the finish, as is the rest of the pack, is quality. All in all it's a great buy and a useful addition to new and old players alike.

It is a great resource, the screen has a lot of information plus a quick start booklet, a bunch of character sheets some maps and an adventure. My only issue is that it' sis a 3 panel screen, not 4 panel

I expected a quality screen, a few character sheets and a quick rule summery. I did not expect additional 2 scenarios, handouts and maps. Amazing product, worth the price. Can't wait to use all of it in my next few games.

The information in the screen is very good once you have learned the rules properly. The flowchart information for combat and chases is very helpful. Also, there are extra information has character generation etc that is nicely presented in a condensed way. Besides the screen you get a set of character sheets (Chaosium sure loves to give you character sheets), folded maps, handouts and an awesome book with two scenarios. For the price it is a really sweet deal. Had the starter set if you don't have the corebooks or just want the nice 3 adventures there included and you have yourself a very good tool set to play CoC 7th.
