I like the sturdiness & cabin design

This is an exquisite (can I use that word to describe a paper towel holder??) item that will add glamour and sophistication to any kitchen. OK - I may be a bit over-the-top on my praise; however, you won't be disappointed when you unpack this item and place it on your counter for use. Truly a lovely piece.

I bought this for the kitchen in our cabin. It goes with the elk theme we have throughout. It is sturdy and keeps the paper towel roll in place. It was easy to assemble and the elk head comes off to fit the paper towel roll down over the bar. My only complaint, thus four stars for sturdiness, would be is that the head doesn't sit tight. It moves around when pulling towels off the roll. It's not a deal killer though as it works and looks well.

While the head of the elk is beautiful, it sits atop a pole that is much smaller than the rod that goes into the base, therefore it rattles and swirls while you pull your paper towel. It goes from looking very stately to performing cheaply. Rod that goes into bottom is also crooked on the base. Got this for Christmas for our home, not pleased at all for the price.
