Great deal, works as should, will be buying again

Followed all the steps in the right order. Ran the tumbler for over a month through all the steps. In the end, all of my stones are now a dull matte finish and not even as shiny as they were before they went through the processes. I don't blame this product completely- all of these kits seem about the same as far as materials go- I just think the whole process is a waste of money, time, electricity, and misrepresented as 'stone polishing'. Completely ruined my emerald, rubies, sapphires, opals, and tourmaline as well. I will have to hand polish the ones that are still large enough to secure, or coat them with something to get a shine out of them now. And some of them just ended up too small or even sand like.

So I ordered this kit and it works wonderful on my rocks in any tumbler. The only reason I give 4 stars is because it does not give you detailed enough instruction on how long to tumble each step and also with the final step there is zero instructions on how to use. There is a large amount for several tumbling sets as well.

I love that it has a measuring spoon because I never know how much I really need to put into the polisher . I'm sure I've wasted a lot without using one. I just dumped the whole package into it. Not the best way.I'm 70 and I am teaching my 3 year old grandson about using it after I'm gone. Great way to spend family time with the grandkids.

Great for the price

My son has been into collecting gem stones. He got some gem stones that he could polish and someone gave him the machine. So my husband and I decided to suprise our son with this product. He had fun experimenting with this and gem stones came out polished beautifully. I didn't know such things exsited lol but Amazon has everything!

The grit works fairly well for the rough tumbling stages, but is not fine enough to polish your rocks. As soon as the rocks dry they will look dull and cloudy.

I decided not to polish my rocks, so I sent it back, but I could tell when I opened it that the grit was good, and it would have been a good product to use.
