I used this wire for the bottom of my DIY planter boxes to keep moles out. It was easy to use. I love that it came with wire cutters, gloves and mending wire for larger areas. I used 1 roll for the base of two 4x8 planter boxes. It stretches somewhat to get a tight fit. It comes wrapped in plastic wrap with the tools in another bag. Compact and well packaged.

Perfect for keeping little stray neighborhood animals out of my yard. I lined the whole bottom of my fence with this and still had some left to reinforce a little higher. Works well for what I needed. Came with gloves which was a plus because I didn’t have any or even think I needed any.

I used this for my garden. It keeps my checking out of the beds. Great price for the amount of fencing you get. Definitely cheaper than the farm stores.

The squirrels have been devouring my garden this year! I keep my plants in plastic totes, so I used this chicken wire to build cages around my plants inside them. After realizing that the squirrels will climb under them too, I added lawn staples to attach them to the ground. Some comments said that this wire was thin, but I didn’t find it to feel any thinner than other chicken wire I’ve worked with. It was an amazing bonus that it came with the wire, wire cutters, and gloves. It was everything I needed to build my cages. The cutters made it easy to cut to size, and the wire was helpful for attaching it to itself in a loop and to secure the top piece to the sides. You do need to be careful of the sharp edges for safety, but I haven’t had any problems with it. The gloves are a good idea to protect your hands while working with it. I noticed that I also needed to be aware of where it is near my face while I was unrolling it because it can bounce around a bit. While I unwind it from the roll, I slightly bend it the opposite direction so it will start to lay flatter and be more workable. It is just wire so it will go where you bend it. It has been durable and done exactly what I needed it to do.

We used this to screen in a raised garden bed to keep deer out of our garden. Worked great and we enjoyed it. Now if we could figure out how to keep the deer away from our flowers. 😆
