Café Tastlé, Decaffeinated Gold

Have been limiting my caffeine consumption for years and this is one of my favorite products. It's not the same as freshly brewed but also not a huge drop in quality. Taste is better than most freeze dried brands and it doesn't kill my gut.

Great tasting decaf and it is kosher: not decaffeinated with chemicals.

I bought this because I wanted to see if there was a better decaf instant coffee out there. (The only thing available where I live is Nescafe) This is better in some ways but worse in others. It is much less bitter than Nescafe, but it also lacks flavor in general. If you like bold dark roasts you will find this coffee lacking. If you like blonde roasts you will probably love this coffee.

For some reason the idea of decaf instant coffee hadn’t occurred to me until I wanted to make my coffee shake in the afternoons and have a warm cup of coffee at night BUT I’m nursing a baby so I don’t wanna get dehydrated or stay up any later than my baby. I didn’t think I could find it at the store (turns out I can) so I’ll be buying it there from now on. However, this stuff was a pleasant, tasty introduction to the idea of decaf instant coffee. Only downside is this is a big spendy. I’ll be sticking to the store bought kind from now on.

Love it, but removed 2 stars because it’s not worth paying almost $25!

Big James Hoffmann fan here. When he did his video on using instant Delgona recipe, I thought hmmmm.... I need some instant coffee. I love this coffee, everything from the packaging to the taste. It's a bit richer than the lower brands such as Maxwell House or Community instant and it would be ideal for those who want to use it to make homemade cappuccino or other recipes. It's pretty darn big for the price, too. I'm a pretty picky customer and can say that I don't often write reviews anymore--but buying coffee online can be really tricky so I wanted to share how pleased I was with this particular one. I am looking forward to trying their other flavors. Oh, and if you need an opinion on coffees, go over to r/coffee on Reddit and ask. You'll get a bevy of really great opinions (and maybe James Hoffmann's, too).

The only way I know this is really decaffeinated coffee is that, after 4 cups, I still don't have the jitters And the most impressive thing is that I sacrificed nothing. As a matter of fact, and only because I love a nutty taste with my coffee (pecans, Brazilian nuts), I'm sure I just upgraded. Don't let the price bother you; this is a LOT of good coffee! Worth every penny.

This stuff is super good the taste alone will blow you away. This stuff can fool nearly everyone. No one that tasted this knew it was decaf nor did they think it was instant. When you add the right amounts of sweetener and milk or cream you can almost taste a mocha like taste. It is amazing and so so good. Makes awesome iced coffee as well as hot for those cool nights or when the AC is just too damn high (like the rent)!
