Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate & Cocoa - Sweet Ground Powder, Chocolate, 3 Lb

The quality of Ghirardelli is simply unmatched. If you enjoy dark chocolate, the consistency and creaminess when dissolved is to die for. Sadly the price keeps going up, so we have cut back somewhat and enjoy it more as an occasional treat rather than a daily splurge, like we used to. I just recently bought this one even though we have some left, just to get ahead of price increases. The taste is superb and it's nicely balanced with sugar/sweetness. Sometimes dark chocolate has a tendency to be a bit bitter, but they've managed to balance out the sugar just right. The powder blends really well in water or milk leaving no clumps or residue. There's no real texture that can be problematic with some of the cheaper powders which don't blend well. Smells heavenly as hot cocoa. Throw on a little whip cream or marshmallows and it's heaven in a cup.

Absolutely delicious & luscious dark cocoa mix. Good-sized container at a reasonable price. A win-win!

My husband loves hot chocolate and he uses this one along with other ingredients. It makes a rich, flavorful hot chocolate without a powdery taste! The powder incorporates well with milk and evaporated milk, so easy to use and large enough to last for quite some time!

This stuff is delicious!! Only negative is it doesn’t dissolve in cold milk.

love this to use when making a Cafe Mocha!! Do not need the total of 3 scoops they suggest for hot cocoa, I only use one scoop to get a taste of chocolate without adding too many extra calories.

I make hot cocoa with this or put it in my coffee, I use it to make brownies and use less sugar. So delicious and easy to use!

This tin arrived yesterday. Took a quick break from watching the Alcaraz/Medvedev Wimbledon semi final during the early hours of this morning, to make a cup of hot chocolate. The aroma when I opened the tin was wonderfully intoxicating, a kind of chocolate heaven. Milk plus half the recommended serving heated in a mug in the microwave worked well, no lumps, dissolved easily. Very sweet, which means it will go further. Decadent and delicious!

Hmmm i dont really like it. The chocolatiness of it is kinda weak. Doest taste like dark chocolate either. Way too sweet if you use one recommended serving size. Now I don't know what to do with the rest of it.
