Seems good quality, silver painted aluminum plate and bar so it is very lightweight, was a bit of a challenge to install on my 19 Chevy Colorado mainly because the license plate bracket is angled but solved that with some stacked washers, holds my light bar nicely

This easy to install if you want to just use the holes for your license plate. In my case it’s a older Subaru so i wasn’t worried about cosmetics underneath. I removed the bumper because of the 3-4” of foam between the plastic and structural part of the bumper. I hollowed out part of the foam and added 2 pieces of 2x2 square tubing and welded it to the car then ran bolts through the bracket and attached it to the frame with the tubing as a spacer to increase rigidity. There are enough places for the bolts i ran to still have access to the factory license plate holes. I wouldn’t want to try to take the bolts out just to get to the #plate.Overall I am sure I went over board but... I is sturdy AFObviously this is a light bar bracket and not a brush guard although it is sturdy its still a plate of steel that is bent at 90degrees. So if you are wanting something for additional structural support for your weekend adventures I can’t say that it will hold up to abuse. But as for a good option for a cool license plate bracket with or without lights it is awesome. It even gives a Outback a little bit of a aggressive look. For the price!!!!! Don’t hesitate it’s easy to install and looks great. You don’t have to go crazy like I did (I made it a 4hr project)This can be installed in minutes and will be suitable for most people. I just beefed it up because The Subaru is for playing on the weekend and it gets abused. On a daily driver just use your factory holes.It would have been nice if some rubber washers/spacers were included. I haven’t noticed vibration but as you can tell I tend to get a little over zealous.

This mounting bracket is not intended to be a push bar/bull bar - it is made from very light alumnimum.It does hold my LED light bar just fine, so I gave it four stars.However - you should NEVER install this using just the little screws that come with your front license plate holder.If you mount it that way, your light is going to fall off. Those screws just won't hold a light when screwed into the plastic bumper cover.You MUST drill holes into your bumper and then either screw or bolt the mount into the bumper. Otherwise, this mount just won't last.As long as you know that going in, this is a fantastic solution to mount lights without major modifications.It's also very affordable, and it really did solve my issue once I figured out what I needed to do to install it so that it would stay put.

Product is very durable and sturdy. The finish is still like new after at least two years on my vehicle. The welds are strong. Easy to install. Highly recommended.

What got me to buy this was how it could be EASILY mounted, and turn a regular bumper into one that might intimidate a bit more (for my gf’s car). Problem being, when I got the item, the hardware was all rolling around in the box! 4 bolts, 2 nuts and 1 washer - oh AND the little ziplock bag was in the box, too - EMPTY (If there was more I assume they were lost in transit) ..The other problem I had is that there’s 3 “welding points” from the bar to the 90 degree mounting sheet metal and WOW did they ever look fragile! I would be worried if I DROPPED IT, much less had it mounted in the FRONT of my car WITH LIGHT PODS / BARS attached?.?!No way. I’ll be drilling and mounting them tomorrow for my girl, so we’ll see, but if she stops too fast the weight of the LED pods might rip that bar off of the sheet metal. Borderline spot-welded..!

A little bigger than I thought but not a bad thing. I put a set of fog lights on there and it worked perfectly. Sturdy and doesn't rattle. Good price for something neat and perfect for a beach tag. 😎.

This item does NOT fit ANY usa license plate frames. When i got it i had to wait to get ahold of it due to it being shipped to my brother's house instead of mine. By then it was past 30 days. Come to find out it dont fit no license plates and instead, i slapped it on my lawn tractor and it's holes fit perfectly up to the tractor frame. Now it is being used to hold a aftermarket light for my tractor when i need to see a bit better.Dont buy if you plan to put this on a car/truck. Very small, fits only on tractors. I have a 2005 john deer mower and it fit on there just fine.
