The best mayo ever - if you can find it

I buy Hellman’s Organic Mayonnaise not solely because it’s organic or because it tastes good and less sweet, but because it doesn't contain rapeseed oil to which I am allergic. I find that most organic products don’t contain rapeseed oil but this is used very widely across the food industry, including in cartons of olives, making it very difficult to avoid it in everyday food products. It has taken some time for health experts to realise that rapeseed oil can cause severe allergic reaction in some people which it does to me unfortunately, as it is an excellent oil which is colourless and tasteless and grown in the U.K. and is cheaper than most other oils. Importantly it is tolerated by most people. I am a farmer’s daughter and we couldn’t grow oilseed rape on our farm because it caused my father and me breathing difficulties and later we became very allergic to the oil.Recently, the mayonnaise became unavailable in local Tesco supermarkets the only supplier locally but it may well be available in supermarkets in other parts of the U.K. It was unavailable for a short period of time on Amazon too so it may have been an ingredient shortage or a recipe change butI was delighted to find it stocked by Amazon once again.I can make my own mayonnaise but for every day use, Hellman’s mayonnaise is delicious and free of rapeseed oil! It is however a little more expensive than Hellman’s non organic mayonnaise. I hope this helps others who are allergic to rapeseed oil and enjoy organic products and like the taste. Please don’t stop stocking it Amazon! Please note this any manufacturers who can offer a rapeseed oil free product!

So much better than the non organic

The texture is good.Not worth the money.There is no taste at all, just of oil.I wouldn't buy again.Biona have great quality and tasty mayonnaise il stick with that.Biona has no sugar, but this make does, which is not necessary, sugar does not make things taste better.Im on a keto so ingredients are important.

Bring out the Hellmans and bring out the best.

Packaged very well without excess packaging, and arrived quickly enough. Great taste; I would recommend this product for it's smooth creaminess without any unnecessary ingredients, and the labels are very easy to remove for reusing the jars, (which I do).
