You're right, this size chart makes no sense. Someone should be embarrassed for posting it relative to this shirt. That said, the best I can do is guide by my experience. I bought a MEDIUM for my son, who normally wears a Youth 10-12 size; he is 11-years old. For a toddler, I imagine the closest -- and then it might still be too big -- would be the X-Small. Good luck with your decision.

I would order a small, if a 6T is not available.
