SSK003 Automatic Watch for Men - 5 -Sports - Blue Dial with Date Calendar and Luminous Hands & Markers and Black & Blue GMT Bezel, 100m Water-Resistant

I am a Seiko Fan and this watch did not disappoint. The SSK003 (aka Blueberry) is the Seiko 5 GMT Diver with the Batman bezel. Stainless steel, 14.7mm height, 42.5mm diameter with the standard 28.5mm dial along with a 24 hour chapter ring. The watch uses the 4r34 movement which is Seikos newest Automatic. This is an entry level movement. Performance is very good with that said. The watch has about 280-250 degrees of amplitude, 0.0-0.3ms of beat error and a max variation of 18 spd between 6 positions. Out of the box and rested dial down, the watch produces about -1 spd of accuracy give or take a couple tenths. Very consistent and very accurate. Performance is hard to argue about for a sub $500 watch. I love the looks of the watch, the bracelet is comfortable and has micro adjustments to customize the fit. I highly recommend this watch! My seller was also very good, shipping in less than 24 hours, very good price and an authorized Seiko dealer to boot. I am very happy!

Quality and color scheme are just beautiful. I bought blue and bezel’s color are top half black and bottom half blue. It’s not clicky bezel, but it has very good resistance so I’m not worrying about bezel moving itself. I was skeptical how $400 watch can be compare to Rolex (Sea dweller) and Omega (Sea Master). What a surprise! Of course, you can’t compare this to those watches, but if you don’t really care for high end brand, this can be a beautiful everyday watch and still will get compliments. Weight was there, I love heavy masculine watch that has weight to it. Plus, not too many people will know and care for high end brand watches anyway. If you like a watch with some weight, this is it for you. Quality of construction is very good and couldn’t find any fault or cheapness. This is my first Seiko and it has not disappoint me yet. Only time will tell its true built quality. Only complain was packaging (not seller’s packaging-shipping box was nicely packed and sealed). Seiko box was just a cardboard and watch’s glass was not protected by clear silicon, but just foam cover. It seem like it was returned items, but who knows. I saw scratches on the glass back cover, but upon close inspection, it was covered by clear silicon protection. There was no corner tip to lift it up, so I almost return the watch….. I had to scratch with my finger nail to lift the protection off. As for wrist band, It came with many links. So if you have small or medium wrist, you might have to remove quite a bit of them. I removed 2 links each side so total of 4 links were removed. Clasp is nice and secure. In conclusion, this is a very nice watch and worth to include it with my collections.

I read some reviews that the watch had no inscription that is made in japan ,but the one i have received has the Made in Japan writing on the dial. It keeps accurate time and i wind it only first time when i bought it and untill now i didnt need to wind it so the mechanism is very good at self winding. The watch is solid and has good weight on it ,you can tell that is a good quality watch. The GMT hand is extremely usefull and i use it to keep track on 2 time zones. Keep in hand for those who dont know how to use GMT watch, the GMT Hands moves a complete cycle in 24 hrs while the normal hand is moving 2times per 24 hrs cycle. The way you read the gmt time is against the dial on the inside of the watch ,and a 3rd time zone can be kept by adjusting the outer dial to the gmt discrepancy of the time zone you need

Love this watch. Hefty, solid feel. Gains only between 3 and 5 seconds a day. Highly legible dial. The cyclops eye above the date is a main reason I bought it. I don’t know why more watches don’t have this feature. Rolex had this right decades ago. Many people need this feature. The bracelet is also excellent. Solid links and *four* microadjustment settings (simple tool needed). The “jubilee” design is very comfortable and attractive. I bought it on Amazon for about $342 (it’s even less these days). List is $475. Don’t pay list price. 🤗

Absolutely love the ssk003. Watch arived quickly. Nice being able to track multiple time zones at a glance. Watch alao looks beautiful.

First off, it's a beautiful watch. The way the blue sundial and color on the bezel shine in the light is gorgeous. The band is flashy in a nice way. The red GMT hand pops. It's a beautiful watch and it feels quality. It's nice to have a in house movement but it's not to accurate as it ends up off a few minutes off every few days. I feel like I have to readjust every 2-3 days to get it back on point. Most of my automatic watches are much more accurate... but also, much more expensive. Good inexpensive GMT that I'm not afraid to wear anywhere and get scuffed up a bit. I've seen it for cheaper out there now so now it's even more of a steal. If you want a stylish automatic watch you can go anywhere with for not a lot... this is your watch.
