This is what happened to these shoes the fifth time I wore them. Meaning that every time I put them on cost me $10. I will never buy from that brand again. The worst thing is that if I'd written this review after wearing the shoes only four times, I would have given them five stars, because they are comfortable. The quality control is just not up to par. I wonder how many people who bought these shoes are still wearing them.

I'm giving these four stars - they are comfy in terms of the platform and foot-bed, however, the straps are super tight, not because of the velcro strap in the back, but rather due to the tightness of the cross of the suede on top of the foot. It definitely pinches, though I do feel it will loosen over time. I saw another customer review about the straps snapping off and I think this tightness is likely the comfort. As I was wearing them around for the first time, I kept tugged where the straps crossed across the top of my foot to start to loosen it up. As I did that, I literally thought to myself, don't pull too hard, you might snap the straps off! So, I think that's likely going to be an issue if you have larger feet (not in terms of length, but if you just have a puffier or bonier foot - I don't know the correct term to use here!). The bone on top of my foot definitely protrudes a bit and my arches are very high; those things combined I think make these slightly tighter than would be comfortable. Hopefully it loosens up with wear!

The first pair of these shoes broke within a couple months. I tried again and the latest pair only lasted one month. The straps break off from the sole just like in the pictures from some of the other customers. Really cute and comfortable for a very short time. I guess it’s worth investing more money in a higher quality shoe.

These are awesome. Comfortable. Very versatile. And super cute. The straps aren't leather, which seemed strange at first considering the price, but the super soft material won me over. These are high but not TOO HIGH. And because your foot isn't in a crazy arched position you can wear them all day. I also love the adjustable straps. They have the comfort of grandma shoes without looking like grandma shoes. I wish I had then in a nude color but I went with black. I already want another pair.

Followed recommended sizing. Fits perfect. I wear these shoes ALL the time! I have them in both blue (kind of a medium to dark denim color) and black. They are SO comfortable and worth every penny. I walked all over Savannah in these and they are honestly more comfortable than wearing flip flops or flats (especially if you have a high arch like I do). Very sturdy and don’t make you roll your ankle like lots of wedges do. LOVE these shoes so much!

I love these shoes! They are the perfect balance between really cute and actually wearable. I broke my ankle a few years ago and cannot wear high heels anymore. Unfortunately, most lower heel shoes are ugly and look like something a 90 year old would wear. These shoes are stylish and comfortable. I could easily wear these all day long. Even my 20 something daughters liked them!

I thought these shoes would be super comfortable because they look like a similar brand and since they are wedges, I presumed they would be pretty comfortable and easy to wear. Unfortunately, I was standing for about 4 hours in these shoes and my feet were killing me and my heal hurt so bad, I couldn't wait to get in the care and take my shoes off. My back was also killing me. May return; not worth the pain.

I was very pleasantly surprised that these shoes were as nice as they are. Have seen similar at more then double the price so wasn’t expecting them to be as nice as they are. The platform heel appears high but they are very comfortable and easy to walk in. I normally wear a size 7 but went up a half size since my feet swell a bit in the hot weather. They fir great. Love the Velcro vs a buckle so much more easier to put on and take off. Got the beige and it is a little darker then the picture but no big deal. Immediately ordered the black pair. Not sure what they are actually made of and hoping they don’t stretch. The straps fit my feet in all the right places- no pinching or rubbing. Would definitely recommend.

I love Chinese Laundry. I think it’s a wonderful brand so when I was looking for a new pair of summer sandals and saw these, it was a no-brainer. Overall, they are wonderful - really comfortable, easy to put on and take off and a beautiful neutral colour that makes them easy to wear. The only disappointing thing is that after two days of wearing them, the one side came loose, unglued, whatever you want to call it and you can plainly see where the colour stops. There’s no way to ‘fix’ it.For a higher end brand like Chinese Laundry, this was disappointing.

Shoes started peeling away from sole immediately. Badly made I only wore them 2 times before they were broken

I have thick legs so had to add a Velcro extender to the strap.
