Great item does it's job

The saw is fine, it's the miter box. It's plastic so you cut into the plastic as you saw your item. Dulls the saw and throws off the miter eventually. BUT - I only needed a miter box for 6 cuts, so it did the trick. Can probably get one more job's use out of it.

I bought this to make cuts for trimming out my bathroom door and floor trim after I remodeled it. It worked great, made easy cuts that matched up perfectly. Don't know how long it will last after all it is plastic. It did the job though!

Flimsy, but does the job on a budget.

Used this saw and miter box to trim out the ceiling opening for a collapsible stairway and this set up did a great job. The saw does cut slightly into the plastic miter box along the edges making the slots slightly larger overtime, but for the limited use I needed,I found it to be perfect.

Thought this would be a handy portable tool to cut floorboards rather that going back and forth to my chop saw; not so much. The box is light weight plastic that will be quickly worn down with use and it is useless unless secured to a solid surface, so it is not portable. The box itself is so shallow a two-inch molding barely fits requiring an inaccurate start point... My fault for not considering the limitations of this thing and the probable low quality of a low priced tool. To sum it up this will not perform as expected and in my experience it is a waste of money.

Useful for what I needed for

I have since gave this miter box away. I only purchased to make a few cuts for my garage baseboard that I put up. I didn't expect much from it. I am just surprised they make stuff like this. I would have paid more for something better, but couldn't find one in the middle that I liked. If so, I would have kept for future projects. Sorry, I don't really recommend unless you use it like I did in a pinch.

The saw comes with it and clips into the mitre box for storage.

Not bad but seems a little flimsy. Just be careful when cutting so you don't cut into the plastic base.

This was awful, can’t cut all the way to the bottom because the box is in the way so you cut as far down as possible and then snap your wood/poly and hope for a clean cut…. Doesn’t really work. Was a huge mess too, the blue box getting sawed. I switched to miter shears.

Smaller than expected. Not sturdy enough to cut 3 inch baseboards. Good for less than 3 inch though.
