This is not just a journal, it is a sketchbook as well. There are different sections, some lined for journal making and others with blank pages, clearly intended for sketching (and most probably intended for nature sketches). Peale's beautiful paintings are interspersed, like surprises here and there. This is a delight whether you desire a notebook or a sketchbook or both!

Es muy bonito, pero pequeño, pensé que sería un poco más grande, de excelente calidad y un encuadernado igual al del libro, las pastas son imitación piel y tiene detalles en dorado, al interior el papel es grueso en tonos grises claros, Perfecto para pastel , tiene rayado, cuadriculado y en blanco , entre las páginas hay mariposas bellamente impresas de las mismas que habla el libro. Una maravilla!!!Envío en tiempo y exageradamente empaquetado.
