The boots fell apart within the first hour. It was a little muddy that day, which may have contributed to the problem. Still, it was a very expensive failed experiment!

Durable to use. Works great in mud and on roads.

Overall, the boots themselves do the job they are supposed to. They keep my foundered quarter pony comfortable so that he can get the movement and exercise he needs. However, the quality of the Velcro on the gaiters is less than impressive. I've had my boots for only a few weeks and used them less than a dozen times. The other day when I was removing them, the outer velcro layer just ripped right off in my hand. There was no undue stress or pressure, just how I normally unstrap them. I would think that for the price, they could use high quality heavy duty Velcro instead of the plastic/vinyl backed stuff that gets brittle when it is cold and is easily ripped by bare hands. I plan to fix it myself and continue using them, but for my next set, I think I'll go with another brand.

Hard to get on, and off for arthritic hands, but seem to do the job great. Fit is everything.
