Fits the car just fine. I forget that it’s even there now. Yes the clips could be better but once they are in place and doing their job, just leave them alone.

This does exactly what I needed it to.The Model X has a large glass widshield that goes up all to the top. Even when the top of the winshield is already heavily tinted, bright sunlight would still cause problems. This fits exactly over the top half just above where the foldable vanity mirror would go. You can still fold out the vanity mirror when needed.It does exactly what I need it to do.

Living in the western states and driving a car with expansive glass areas it's a must to have good sun protection. A good sun visor and sun shades are essential to keep the sun from overheating your skin even though the windows are tinted. This shade is well made with a black opaque material. It still lets the light in but keeps the harmful rays out. It literally took all of 3 minutes to snap it into place without damaging the interior headliner of the car. For the cooler months, it is easy to take out to experience the expansive views of the car. Luckily it also folds up for easy storage. I keep it in my trunk where it won't get misplaced and be ready any time I feel the need to have it back on. I love the expansive views the new cars with the larger glass areas afford, but sometimes you just have to have some shade, and this shade meets that need perfectly.

Installation was easy. My Tesla stays cooler now. Great product and much cheaper than what Tesla sells!
