Q: What is the maximum width for shelves

With the pipe being so cheaply made. By the way seller don't tell you it's fake pipe, which they should. I used 24" boards and the pipe cracked in a week. This pipe is not that much cheaper the real sch40 iron pipe. But if you buy in large quantiles from China it is cheaper because they can buy the nipples in cut sizes for less, but then sells them marked up 13-20 times. with sch40 iron pipe will not break the board will break before the pipe fails. that you can use 36" x1" board and the pipe will hold it. I think the sellers of this cheap stuff should tell people upfront it is three times thinner that the real iron pipe. Because I don't care what application you use it on it is not if fails because it will always fail. I believe Amazon should insist that the sellers of this pipe should inform us customers upfront the size of the pipe and the SCH of the pipe! I have had to return 15 items in the last few months and that is a hassle. I even ask the sellers about it before I buy it and they either don't respond or they say its strong enough to use. So, everyone contacts Amazon to tell them to demand the sellers to put this in their description.
