Awesome movie, great quality!

Heavy Metal is one of my all-time favorite movies — a wild, trippy, animated ride that still holds up decades later. It’s this perfect mix of sci-fi, fantasy, rock music, and unapologetic weirdness that you just don’t see in films anymore. The animation is gritty and unique, every story has its own style, and the soundtrack absolutely shreds — pure 80s energy from start to finish. It’s definitely not your typical animated movie; it’s dark, sexy, violent, and completely over the top, but that’s what makes it so iconic. There’s a raw creativity to it — like someone took a stack of metal album covers and turned them into a movie. If you love cult classics, killer soundtracks, or offbeat animation, Heavy Metal is a must-watch. It’s pure, chaotic art — and that’s exactly why it’s still one of my favorites.

THIS is NOT the original version!! It says 1981 but this is an EDITED Version of the Movie. I know it too well and even had the VHS platform of the movie and they're NOT THE SAME!!!

Awesome ANIMATED SyFy Rock backed movie told in separate vignettes. Some of the top Rock Bands of the 1970’s and 1980’s have music on this soundtrack. The animation it top drawer. Definitely adult themes, not for kids! I have the entire soundtrack on my phone. Also, I originally saw this in the theater when I was a new Second Lieutenant in the army and so the memories come along with it in my life.

This was.... Not the movie I thought I'd seen as a kid. When I was like 5 my mom rented the Bashki movie Wizards because we'd seen his version of Lord of the Rings and loved it. She was pretty horrified, and now as an adult I thought "Yeah totally I saw that movie!" Nope and excuse me Mr. Bashki WTF. Also it was a pretty great movie but NOT for anyone under 18 I cannot stress this enough, there is so much s**. Just random adult activities all through the movie and it comes out of nowhere. I'm a fan of Rob Zombie's Haunted World of El Superbeasto so I laughed like a madwoman at Heavy Metal and LOVED the soundtrack but.... Don't let your kids watch this.

El producto esta muy bueno habia buscado este DVD por mucho tiempo , lo vi en oferta y no dude lo recomiendo a quien aprecie el Heavy Metal

Delivered and in tact the low rating is for the film itself and not the purchase. Has not aged well. A couple of chuckles.
