This is the 2nd of these I've bought. I thought I'd lost the original which I'd had for 4 or 5 years. It was still in great shape. I found it and continue to use it. I plan to give the new one away when the time comes. An interesting note, the gold trim is not metal so you can reheat you drink in the microwave. It hasn't worn off in all these years
