HON Removable Lock Core Replacement Kit, Brushed Chrome

There was no instructions provided, as indicated in the product description on the site. However, it took less than 30 seconds for me to remove the old core with the removal key (provided) and install the new core. I was given the filing cabinet for free. So now that I've changed the lock, I have a fully functioning, locking filing cabinet - all for the cost of this core! Can't beat it!

These lock cores worked great in the Hon desk that we lost the keys to. To replace them they have to be in the unlocked position so I had to pick both locks on the desk. Once that was done it was very easy to get the new cores in and working.

This product was so incredibly easy to use! It took probably less than 30 seconds to change out the lock and that included opening the package after I got it in the mail! I would highly recommend this product. --However, I had watched a tutorial online before getting the product, which made it easy to change out the lock. The package did not come with any instructions, so it would probably be a bit confusing without that. I think if they even included a url to go to to see how to change out the lock it would make a big difference.

Had to go online for replacement directions since none were included. But product works great.

Seller matched other locks that we had in our office. And easy to work with. The lock itself matched 100!

It's unclear from the documentation provided with the HON replaceable lock exactly how to install it. The diagram is unclear, and the instructions are unclear. I guess I'll have to call HON for further assistance.

I revived filing cabinets second hand, the person no longer had the key, this kit worked wonderfully and it sees fine so far.
