Great little machine
I got my machine today and made 7 omelets for the freezer. It worked great. Made very fluffy omelets that rose and were a good size (about the size of a hot pocket). I used a dozen eggs, small bag of shredded cheese, 6 oz of ham chopped up (sandwich ham) and it made 7 omelets. I forgot to buy milk so didn't had any but they turned out great I only let them go for 8 minutes, not 10. I ate the last one I made and it was perfect. The unit is super easy to clean, just wipe it clean. I did use non stick spray and wiped the machine between batches. I have 6 omelets in the freezer for the week. I use to buy the Jimmy Dean Omelets that I don't think they make anymore and these are about the same size but a lot cheaper and so easy. I wasn't sure what machine to buy or really if there is any difference but this one did all it promised. You do not have control over the heat but for what I bought it for I didn't need it.

Great omelette maker
Big props on this very effective omelets-makers. Right out if box, I plugged it in to heat up, then poured in combined eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, and cheese salted and peppered to taste, closed the lid and about 3 minutes later, it was two little fluffy omelets. Great for a quick meal .. Just add salsa and sour cream. All cooked easily with no burns or sticking. I did spray on some oil before pouring in ingredients. Very easy cleanup. Highly recommend.

Makes a nice omlette
I always had issues making omelettes in frying pans and they'd turn out looking more like crepes. This does a great job of making structured omelettes, but it can be a little tricky pouring the eggs in and I do find I get the best results if I wait for the eggs to solidify, then turn the omelettes about 4-5 minutes in. That way they cook more evenly. You can just wait about 6 or 7 minutes for them to cook through without turning, but then I find the bottom is overcooked. I do wish it had an on/off switch (rather than having to plug and unplug it to turn on/off) and that the plates were removable. Cleaning has to be done manually since you can't submerse the unit in water, so a little bit of a pain, but the final product makes up for it once you get the hang of it.

Great Omelets in just 5-7 minutes!
Ok, I'll admit it: I'm a lazy cook sometimes. So because of that fact, I'm constantly hunting for kitchen gadgets and small appliances, that make cooking dinner super quick and easy for me. Eggs don't really take that long of course, but sometimes my omelets can be hit or miss. Uneven cooking is my usual problem with omelets, and also that they don't always puff up nicely like I want them to. Well, for $20 I thought I'd give this little machine a try, and it paid off. :) I whisked up a couple of eggs, some milk, a little salt and pepper and some cheese, and that made for a quick and tasty omelet! I'm really happy with simple it is to cook with this small appliance. The steps are easy and uncomplicated. I think even people who almost never cook, could pull this off without any trouble. Step One: Spray some cooking spray, like Pam or Crisco, in the top and bottom cooking wells. Step Two: Close the top. Step Three: Plug the machine in. Step Four: Stir up your 2 Large or XL eggs, I add a couple tablespoons of milk (plus cheese, salt, pepper, herbs or spices, some chopped meats and vegetables; whatever you want to add to your personal omelet) Step Five: Wait for the machine's light to turn red. Step Six: Pour the eggs into the cooking wells (don't let it overflow) :) Step Seven: Close the Lid Step Eight: Wait between 5-7 minutes while it cooks, and you'll see when it's pretty much done, that the omelet is puffing up and basically lifting the machine's top up on its own! The omelet should look nice and golden brown, and if you want to test the temperature, a thermometer should read at least 160 degrees. I think I'm going to be using this machine pretty regularly! My next experiment is with some pancake batter, just to see if I can make some fluffy, half moon shaped pancakes. :) Hopefully you'll enjoy using your omelet maker, just as much as I'm enjoying mine!

Great Size and Even Cooking, Needs Break‑In Time
I’ve only used the Elite Gourmet EOM205 a couple of times so far, so this is an early impression. The maker lets you cook two individual omelets at once, one per half‑circle, which is a nice feature. Each side is the perfect size for one person — one large egg fits well and makes a satisfying single‑serving omelet. The heat distribution is excellent and the omelets cook evenly every time. Storage is also a plus since the unit doesn’t take up much space. Cleaning could be easier — it’s manageable, but not as quick as I’d like. My only concern so far is that the outside of the omelet has a slight metallic taste. I’m currently seasoning the unit and chalking this up to it being new. I’m hopeful that with more use and continued seasoning, that taste will improve. Overall, I like the product and see a lot of potential. If the flavor improves with time, this will be a great appliance for quick, single‑serving meals.

GET THIS LITTLE THING ITS GREAT!!!
I love this little thing. I live in a small apartment and just needed a quick small appliance to make a fast breakfast and this thing never fails. For the price, for the quality, for what Im able to do very quickly this is a great product. I put sausages in one side and eggs in the other and in 5 minutes I have breakfast. Not to mention that the sausages were frozen, and I was able to put 3 eggs in one side and have the full breakfast. I've made tacos in here, I've made omelets, Ive made cookies, I even put spinanch and cheese in this and made a great dip out of it. This little thing is perfect for all the things you may want to do with it, and it is tiny, but if you just want that quick meal and snack its perfect.

Works surprisingly well.
Re: Omelette maker - this thing works great. There are two sides and each side produces a 2 egg omelette. (You can cook just one omelette if desired) My recipe is mix 4 eggs in a measuring cup, add some spices and mix. Preheat and lightly oil the omelette maker and once the green light come on it’s ready to cook. Pour in the mixture in, add cheese to the top and cook for 7 minutes (tried 6 minutes and still a bit wet inside) and you get 2 perfect omelettes. A quick paper towel wipe when it’s cool and the maker is ready to use again. The only caution is that the machine does get hot when cooking so be careful where you touch. Recommended.
