Amazing watch! Amazing price!!
This is my first time using a watch. I normally don’t like anything on my wrists, but this one goes unnoticed. I love the fact that it reminds me to stand up and walk when I’m seated for a long time. I’ve been using it for a week now, and I love it. The battery lasts a long time, it syncs with my running app, and the sleep tracking, heart rate, and other features seem accurate. For the price, I really recommend it. I have an iPhone, so I can control music if I open Spotify on my phone, but it also has a remote app for Android. Since I don’t like wearing watches, that’s why I went for something economical just to try it, and it amazed me. I love it and don’t regret buying it at all. It has everything I need for training monitoring. I have no issues with the band, at least for me, it doesn’t open or get loose…

The best value heart monitor -- accurate, detailed info, easy to use.
Searched widely for heart rate, pace, distance wrist monitor for getting back to running after being off for a few years. Bought Garmin Insight 2 years ago but could never figure out how to use it! WAY too complicated. I didn't need email, texts, weather, and the screen was impossible to read in sunlight. Plus it was $250. Saw the Amazfit Band 7 and thought I'd try it. Absolutely perfect!! Does exactly what I need, super bright screen, battery lasts multiple days, able to delete apps that I never use so it's really simple. Get full tracking data from my runs that go into an Excel spreadsheet. YAY! Super good price. Band was really a pain but then found alternatives on Amazon, Just pop out the watch and push into the new band. Perfect.

It's...fine.
I have had this Amazefit Band 7 for about 10 days. The battery lasted 9 days before I had to recharge it, so that's great. The sleep tracker and heart rate seem accurate. The vibration alert is strong, easy to feel. The weather app is simplistic but accurate. It charges to full in about 45 minutes. I can't figure out how to use the music control feature. Tried it with my phone's music, and with my Echo playing music. It was unresponsive to both. Here is my big complaint: The BAND IS TERRIBLE. It comes loose all the time. I saved the tiny black rubber band that came wrapped around the charging cord and slipped that on the band, to hold it more securely, and it doesn't fall off any more, but I wake up in the morning and it's just dangling off my wrist. I think without the rubber band, it would fall off completely twice a day. The band is fairly comfortable to wear when I'm typing. I use a gel wrist wrest and it doesn't hurt to wrest the watch on it when I type. It is water resistant. I have worn it through my shower each day without a problem. The pedometer over-counts my steps by about 10%. I compared it to another pedometer, and it was off a bit. I wish I could remove the features/apps from the watch that I don't use. It's a bit cluttered for my ADHD brain. I recommend you use the theater setting at night, so the screen doesn't turn on unless you tap the face. The flashlight feature is bright. I wish the watch did more. Maybe had a game or two, more face options. Makes/receives calls. GPS. That sort of stuff. Overall, it was just...fine. **more thoughts after a couple of months of use** The phone app provided an update about a month ago that added features I was looking for. Namely, it now tells me when I am getting a call on my cell and shows me who is calling. It also gives me the option to reject the call. I can now see text messages that I receive on my cell. I cannot reply, but it lets me read the text without digging my phone out of my purse. I can also now change remove features I don't use through the app, and re-order the ones remaining to suit me. I have access to downloaded apps and watch faces through they app store. The calculator app works well. There are some apps that are laughable. Like "Snake" and "Notes". Snake is super lame, slow, nothing to do...for $2, the Notes app has keys that are about 1 mm wide. Impossible to type with it. Also $2. I purchased a pack of colored watch bands, and the clasp holds better than the band that came with the watch. I don't need to put a rubber band around it to keep it on my wrist. I don't care for the colors. Pastel pink, purple, green, and black. Yay. I'd love to see a royal purple band, navy blue, dark teal, etc. The battery continues to last me about 9 days in between charges. I re-sync the watch to the phone app every morning and have noticed my sleep data appears differently from one to the other after syncing. Last, I found that the watch reacts to warm water during my shower as finger touches. I often get out of the shower to see my watch face has changed, a countdown timer has been set, etc. This has been a very minor annoyance. I like being able to control the music playing on my phone from my watch. It's a nice set up with my Bluetooth headphones. After 2.5 months of wearing this. I am glad I bought it and will check out the next iteration when it's produced. I'd love to see they add proper GPS, a game or two that are actually fun, and voice texting.

Frustrating, annoying, and garbage.
Honestly would not recommend this watch at all. First, the heart rate monitor and sleep monitor are very inaccurate. I compared the heart rate measurement several times during various levels of rest or exercise with the readings from my blood pressure arm cuff. While I was expecting some inaccuracies maybe plus or minus a few bpm the watch would report 90 bpm when my blood pressure device read 130 bpm and when my blood pressure cuff read 90 this would often read anywhere from 70 to 140. Sometimes tapping the measure button would read 130 and then 2 seconds later read 80. Second, the device has a feature where if you press and hold the screen you can quickly change the watch face. This is extremely annoying as the screen is extremely sensitive and I found if my coat sleeve slid forward it would trigger it, or if I crossed my arms it would trigger it, or just resting my arms in my lap would trigger it. There is no way to disable this feature and with how sensitive the screen is to any kind of touch from anything it gets very frustrating very quickly. Finally, most of these issues could still be overlooked to an extent but after having it for only about four months the screen popped out on me and was dangling by the ribbon cable connecting it to the circuit board. I carefully set the screen back in place and glued it back in using a compound that would seal it from moisture so it wouldn't get damaged further but that didn't last long. I glued it once more with some heavy duty glue but that also failed after about a month. The third time it popped out and I glued it back in the screen had solid white vertical lines so I popped the screen out and discovered parts of the wiring on the ribbon cable had cracked due to the screen hanging freely by it. Now, with no functional screen whatsoever I am unable to turn the device off at all since there is no physical way to turn it off without using the screen. Thankfully I was at least able to turn my alarms off through the Zepp app so it would stop buzzing when sitting on my desk. Overall, this thing is cheap garbage and I wouldn't waste a penny on it. Only reason I give it 1 star is you can't give it 0 and my mom likes it cause she has metal allergies and this is the first fitness tracker she's found that does not have any metal against the skin.

It’s not as fully featured as an Apple Watch, but it tracks my sleep better. Plus it needs to be charged only about once a week, which allows for more consistent sleep/health tracking too (ie. not worrying about having to charge it daily like Apple Watch)
