It was ok , making sushi is tricky , I tried a couple times and they never turned out , easier to just buy them from the store already made, gave this machine to Salvation Army already

I really liked this gadget. If you have an idea on how to make sushi this here will seal the deal when it comes to making percect sushi. I had absolutley no problems with the latches, at first it seem like the two parts (each half of the tube) were not going to cooperate however once you lay down your sticky rice and start adding the good stuff such as crab meat, cream cheese, avocado and I even added red bell peppers it all cit in there snuggly and with no problem. I was able to just pump it out onto the nori sheet which was wating for the sushi roll (rice and ingridients) to slide right out onto the nori that was sitting on top of the bamboo matt. It just worked super good. I honestly bought this gadget not really thinking that there was the original sushi bazooka, so I bought this one by reading some of the reviews. And since I do have a little experience making sushi this here just helped me. Great product easy tl put together and pull apart tl watch it.

If it was made a little sturdier, it would be perfect, as is it can be kind of flimsy.

To keep cost down they made it out of very cheap plastic, ours has held together well despite this. Making sushi comes w a serious learning curve here, but it beats becoming a real sushi chef. Once you get the hang of it, it is quite easy. Cleaning is arduous and may require some soaking in soapy water or bottle brush due to all the tiny groves and notches.

I actually love my sushi bazooka, used it for the first time the other night and it worked perfectly. It does get a little messy if you pack too much in the middle of it, which will then squeeze out of the sides when you close it. Other than that, no complaints, held up in the dishwasher just fine and ready for its next use! The bamboo mat and chopsticks are also a nice touch.

Makes great looking sushi rolls. Only drawback is hinges, which easily come apart when closing the two halves (at which time you then secure them with clasps). That being said, after making a few rolls you will learn how to hold the halves so that there hinges don't come undone. Definately like the sushi maker and would suggest it to anyone interested.

I bought this sushi kit ahead of a family party. I wanted professionally looking sushi without spending the money at the specialty store. After buying the sushi bazooka kit I saw that I can get neat and perfectly rolled sushi rolls made right in my kitchen. All parts were exactly as described, the instructions were easy to follow and product was easy to clean afterwards. The kit included everything we needed to make the perfect sushi roll. We are definitely looking forward to creating our next mess free homemade sushi rolls.

This is absolutely awesome to use for sushi dinner night. I’m giving a 4 instead of a 5 due to the fact it pops out of the hinges when your trying to shut it at times.

Easy to use and makes perfect rolls every time

makes really solid roles - but you HAVE to follow instructions carefully. people talking about clips not working are overstuffing. you don't need to put a whole lot in since it compresses the entire role to make it solid.However, the joints on the bottom should really be sealed together instead of coming apart as easy as they do. when you place both ends flat on the table they separate and you need to reconnect them as you're folding the two halves together. can be a bit frustrating but 100% worth it

Works the way it should, but the size of the sushi is WAY too big! wish they made a smaller version!
