This was such a great purchase! I am embarrassed to admit that our Honda CRV reading lights were out for almost three years, and we finally purchased this kit to replace them. We were going to have it repaired at the dealer (because any car repairs scare me - I know it's so simple I sound dumb). I decided to at least try to replace myself to save money. This took me a grand total of 5 minutes to replace four lights in our CRV (2 front reading lights, 1 visor light, 1 back reading light). Instructions in the kit are very simple, yet clear to replace the lights, and it comes with a little plastic tool to pop the old lights out of your car. Oh my goodness, I can't believe I waited 3 years to do this. I will never pay to have my lights replaced again! One Note - These lights are very bright white. It is noticeably different than the more yellow lights that came in our car. However, we don't really care how things look in our crappy car (clearly, given that we waited three years to replace), so it is perfectly fine for us.

What a big difference these LED bulbs made in my 2012 Honda CRV .It was a very simple job to put them in and I would gues it took me about 45 minutes - an hour. The license plate lights were the hardest part and thats because I had to figure out how to get the fixtures out . One heads up , when you get the fixture out and take out the old bulb be sure to tie a string around the wire and socket and hitch it to something , tape would probably be better so it won't slip back into the tailgate . If it does you will have to take the inside plastic off from the tailgate so you can fish the wire and socket back throught the hole to the outside.

They're very bright, brighter than expected They have a nice white color to them taking away the ugly yellow stock lights i'm definitely getting them for my family members' 5th gen crv I got em in my 4th gen CRV and I like em so much I have to get em for my family members CRV since they still have the ugly yellow lights And they're very easy to install I've never done any car mods or car accessory mods But i looked up on YT a quick video on how to take off the light switch cover and from there it was straight forward take the old one out and put the new one in 5/5 stars vehicle demonstrated in - 2012 LX CRV

Bulb didn’t even last 1 month without flickering and giving problems. Everything was perfect at first and looked amazing then flickering and dead bulbs not long after. Disappointing given the reviews. With the company would replace malfunctioning bulbs.
