Soman RF-1400 Visor Replacement CWR-F2 Face Shield – Fits RF-1400 X-15 Z8 NXR2 Helmets – Anti-Scratch UV Pinlock Ready Aftermarket (Dark Smoke)

This photochromic visor for my Shoei RF1400 is great! It actually fits the helmet a little better than the OEM clear Shoei visor does. It darkens up nicely and quick in the sun, just like my Shoei OEM visor did for my older RF1200. How they can do it for so much less money is hard to figure.

Very surprised by the fit / quality of this visor. I was seconds away from paying $240 for Shoei visor but decided to give this one a try considering it was less than half the cost - it was a great decision. The fit is not 100% perfect but its very close. The transition tech works great, that was the only reason I purchased it. I leave early for work when its dark and sunny on the way home, couldnt stand wearing sunglasses under my helmet anymore and this is the perfect solution. Great product, would definitely purchase again.

I have the deep smoke shield that I am matching to an RF-1400 helmet. From a performance perspective, I have two issues. First, the up and down movement of shield isn't as smooth as an OEM shield. It almost feels like the mechanism is going to break with continued use. The same applies for attaching and detaching the shield to the helmet. Second, when the shield was being hit with direct sunlight it seem to have a mild haze. No amount of cleaning resolved it (no pinlock attached), so this must be a result of the tinting processes. Also, when it is fully closed/latched, whistling air through the shield seems to be a bit more of nuisance, but that can be resolved with a quick push on the shield. On the plus side, the dark tint is perfect. I would have given it 3 stars just for the performance, but the price moves it up to 4. These shields are still a good choice if you are looking for a good low cost option.

Fits, opens, and closes like the original clear shield that came with my RF-1400. I don’t hear any air leaks. It darkens nicely in bright light and returns to clear in the dark.

So, this fits fine, no blemishes like others, and has really dark tint - that said, I ordered a GOLD color and what I received is nothing close to the color I wanted. It's like a blue green, if anything. It's labeled on the packaging as Gold too... Considering returning and trying another color BC it looks odd to me.

Love it, love it, love it. Not sure why I waited more than 20 years to get a tinted visor. Very happy with function, fit, looks and price.

Absolutely shocked at the quality and fit of this for the price. 5/5 I can find no faults. No issues with increased win noise or with pinlocks being out of place. Literally fits more snugly than my stock visor. Edit 10/9/2024: So, my impressions of this Visor Shield were based on the "Smoke Revo Red" edition of this visor. I _LOVE_ that specific version of this visor. I will note; My visor came with 0 stamping information, (which was cool, like a debadged visor but this could cause issues with safety inspections) was of noticeable heft of 5.9oz weight. This visor is VERY DARK, YOU CANNOT RIDE AT NIGHT WITH THIS VISOR SAFELY. You can drive on freeways and well lit city centers well enough, but in the forest on a full moonlit night, it's dicey. (I think that's great cause I primarily dayride) I then bought the "Smoke Revo Purple" thinking it would be of the same quality. It was not, product defects in the visor where the color had a distorted square in the center of vision. Felt flimsy and cheap, weighed in at 4.6oz which says to me, this is not the same product as the "Smoke Revo Red" in a different color, this is an entirely different visor. I did attempt to "buff" the rectangular defect out of the Purple visors with soap, water, alcohol and solvents to no effect. The Fitment of both these visors into an RF-1400 were perfect however. They also readily accepted Pinlock EVO CWR-F2's with no issue. Buyer beware! this is a tricky product and my low review score reflects my frustration with it, despite my overall great impression of the Smoke Revo Red version.

Love love love!!! One my favorite off-brand purchases in a long time. I bought a clear one and the rainbow mirror color, along with the adhesive anti fog “pin locks” for my Shoei RF 1400. They both snap shut, and I have no issues with noise as some other reviews mentioned. I will say it takes a little more oomph to get open/shut, and changing out visors isn’t quite as smooth, but very minor cons for a huge pro on price tag! I ride every day in the Texas sun, so I need tinted visors I can replace at a reasonable cost. Will definitely be coming here from now on rather than dropping 100s on name brand.

Mサイズに取り付けましたが、純正品よりやや大きいようで、上部に若干のすき間(浮き)が見受けられました。また、サイズが合わないせいか開閉動作も固く扱いづらいです。走行はしていないため実際の使用感は不明ですが、雨水の侵入につながったら嫌なので返品させていただきました。

Great visor! Don’t need spend more 100$ to get the same product. Highly recommend

夜は見えなくなりそうだが、そもそも歳のせいか目が悪くなって暗くなる前に帰ってくるし。 歪みもないし、純正品とかわらないと思う
