The media could not be loaded.  This is so handy for keeping all the writing supplies organized for your little one. It holds a great amount of coloring pieces and I love that the trucks come off to bring the materials to the table without overwhelming my son with too many colors and such. Great little tool!

This is my second kids storage caddy from Learning Resource. Both have pros and cons that seem to mirror each other so I wanna compare them here.I previously got my son the 3 compartment round caddy (the create-a-space mini storage center). The one with 2 quarter compartments and 1 half compartment. It worked great, but was (and is) significantly cheaper than this set which meant it was made with less material, aka not super sturdy. Eventually 2 of the handles broke because my son is rough. He didn’t intend to break it, but things happen. I think it had ended up on the floor somehow and he accidentally crashed a toy monster truck into it.Nonetheless, I was excited to find this because my son loves vehicles. I was thinking surely he’ll take better care of something that’s aesthetically appealing to him. Well once it arrived I had very little concern, because these are way more heavy duty than the previous caddy. The plastic is a lot thicker. Where I could slightly bend the plastic with my hands on the other caddy I can’t with this one. It’s absolutely made to withstand young rough children.So an actual comparison between the 2 caddies:Both have carrying handles attached to the base for easy transportation, and both have 3 compartments.The mini center had more space in the compartments. Notably, it had the half-circle compartment that could hold all of my son’s markers. If I remember correctly, it also had a Lazy-Susan style base so you could spin it to get stuff on the other side. Unfortunately it was a bit flimsy and couldn’t withstand life in a toddler’s bedroom.The truck caddy is notably more expensive, but it’s also a lot more durable. My son is 4 1/2 now, but even 2 years ago I could see it withstanding him being reckless. It’s also more aesthetic, great for children with special interests. Even the base is road themes. There’s less space in each compartment though. There’s still plenty of space, don’t get me wrong, but for comparison sake the mini-center could fit an entire 18 pack of markers in 1 compartment where a single truck can fit 12 at most. It has abundant space for smaller utensils like pencils and crayons though, so I’ve put extra markers in the other trucks because there’s still plenty of room even with all his crayons and colored pencils.

This is so cute and holds a good amount of art supplies for my toddler. He loves them, I love them! Win win!

Anything that encourages the little ones to be even a bit tidier has to be good. They love returning items to the unicorns at the end of the play session for the unicorns to "look after them". Well constructed and no sharp edges.

Um etwas mehr Ordnung in das Chaos auf dem Schreibtisch unseres Sohnes zu bringen, heben wir dieses Set bestellt. Da wir die Sachen von Learning Ressources sehr schätzen und mir das Design gut gefallen hat, hab ich es bestellt.Der Aufbau ist simpel und es gibt einige nette Extras, z.B. dass die Platte drehbar ist. Jeder Behälter in Form eines kleinen Kipplasters hat eine andere Farbkombi. Sie bieten genug Platz für Perlen, Stempel und allerlei Krimskrams. Die Becher können ganz nach Geschmack platziert werden. Sie können auch von der Platte genommen und etwa direkt einem platziert werden. Es gibt einen Griff, sodass man den Organizer gut von A nach B tragen kann.Tatsächlich fand ich den Preis zuerst etwas abschreckend. Da ich aber die Qualität von Learning Ressources kenne, hab ich trotzdem bestellt. Das Design ist originell, alles ist super verarbeitet, kindgerecht und sicher und sogar das Einsortieren macht mit den kleinen Lastern gleich viel mehr Spaß.
