This icemaker is really handy. My wife and I have two refrigerators with freezers, but the freezers are always full of frozen foods, so we have removed the icemakers and ice trays from both freezers in order to have enough freezer storage for food. Most evenings we like to have a mixed drink that calls for ice cubes, and this countertop icemaker fills the bill. It produces cubes quickly and in good volume. We also tend to get our share of injuries from the various sports in which we are involved, and this little machine keeps the ice bags we put on those injuries filled up. We also have an Ossur Cold Rush Machine (found elsewhere on the Amazon pages) for more serious injuries and other aches and pains that requires a steady supply of cubes to function and put the chill on those injuries.We haven’t had to clean the unit, nor is there any smell that some have reported with other ice makers. But we do use tap water filtered by reverse osmosis and charcoal block filters. The footprint of the device is small on our counter and it is very quiet. It occupies a spot next to our coffee maker. We also have a 40 ft sailboat on which we sometimes take week-long cruises. The freezer compartment on the small refrigerator on the boat is generally worthless because it frosts up in a couple of weeks, and it is very small (barely more than one typical tray of ice). So, we carry this countertop icemaker onto the boat for those trips. The power requirements are rather modest for the electrical system on our boat, so this is not an issue. And the small footprint it takes up in our galley is appreciated.

I never, ever, thought that I would need an ice maker in our home. Purchased and now can't be without. Excellent ice maker. Makes plenty of ice for home, pets and parties / get togethers. With these HOT summer days and nights...having plenty of ice on hand is a PLUS?? Excellent purchase...have ZERO regrets on monies spent!!

Purchased in October of 2023 for a new bar, machine was installed by a plumber yesterday 6/15 water stained brand new cabinet morning of 6/16. Water is coming from inside machine all lines are not leaking. Amazon customer service gave me a line to call, it was the Home Depot service line!!!!! Nuts!!! So I have damaged bar cabinets a leaky ice machine and NO customer service because it wasn’t installed when originally purchased. Not even a person to email or talk to from the vendor. They don’t answer the phone number in their product instructions.

Arrived with a broken door. Notified Amazon of the issue and was immediately contacted by Sara who stuck with us from issue to shipping a new door to us. It arrived very quickly. She even sent us a video of how to remove and attach the new door. We had another issue with the inner flap sticking. Sara helped us resolve that as well ... however it was not an issue with the machine itself ... it was a piece of paper from shipping that had gotten wet and stuck to the flap which was keeping it from going back into position.We had another issue that we resolved ourselves. When using the ice scoop if you scoop from front to back it is very easy to pop out a drain plug on the side of the water tray. If you do that ... the water drains from the tray into the ice bin ... it melts your ice and will not make any additional ice. As it fills with water the front display will flash an error code and shut off. We feel this plug should be threaded and screwed into place instead of a push in plug. If it were threaded it would not pop out if the Ice Scoop accidentally hits it. We have learned to use the scoop from side to side only.We do like this machine and we do appreciate all that Sara did for us - including a partial refund. My only other issue was being pushed through Email and telephone to leave a review. I wanted to wait a bit to fully test the machine (and I did) my waiting resulted in several emails to me and phone calls to my husband while he was at work. (Asking to talk to me because I had not left a review.) After everything that had happened when the machine first arrived .... I did not like being pressured. It made me wonder why I was being pushed to review so fast - without fully testing it first. It made me WANT to wait to review it. Do not get me wrong the damage happened happened in shipping ... it was not a fault of the unit. It is working well. The plug is okay as long as you learn to use the scoop from side to side ... and Sarah did a great job helping us. Just ease up on pressuring customers for reviews. (And do not call us ... or email us ... without our contacting you first.)A review ... when ... or if it is given ... is up to the customer.

Makes Ice Cubes in minutes..Fits Perfectly on My Countertop and Looks Great!!I was Really Amazed at how Fast it made much Ice...Makes Bigs Cubes as well as smaller ones...Truly a Great addition to My Kitchen... Especially because i constantly use alot of ice for my Refreshments....I have a small Bar in my house and i moved ot right over to the Bar so my Family enjoys Fresh ice with our Drinks At all times Now...Most Definitely Recommend this machine if your into enjoying fresh ice all the time at home...Also, cleans very easy if you need to put away for special occasions or Functions...Get One, you most certainly won't be Disappointed!

I like the size of the ice cube. I some times get an ample supply of ice cubes(not always) & after about 3 days the system starts deicing. Today, the system has been running 5 - 6 hours and fills with water makes ice and then melts.
