Perhaps the Finest Yoga Mat I have Experienced - Six Stars!
The Yoloha Cork Yoga Mat is without a doubt the best Yoga Mat I have used. As soon as I used it the very first time, I could immediately feel a deep connection to the ground; thus, providing me with a better yoga experience that I had attained. Yoloha advertises this mat as Sustainable, Soft, Durable, Moisture Absorbing, and Non-Slipping I wasn't sure if I could find a mat with all those qualities but was I ever happily surprised to discover that all of their claims were true. The mat is thick enough for me, soft but yet extremely firm (I am 6 Foot, 82 KG), moisture absorbing so well that I did not need my hand towel to wipe the perspiration off the mat during my workouts, and the mat never slipped or moved when changing positions or pushing form extremely angles and degrees. Before I purchased the Yoloha Cork Mat, I read several other reviews. Some mentioned the odor of the Mat's rubber backing or the cork. I found no such problem at all. I rather liked the clean scent of the cork and the rubber was not offensive at all. Again, I cannot say enough about the quality of the Mat. After ripping mats, having them slide out from under me, it was a thrill to find a product that actually surprised the Company's advertised claims. If possible to give the Yoloha Cork Yoga Mat Six Stars - I would without hesitation.

AMAZING YOGA MAT
I practice hot power vinyasa 5 days a week. Sweaty hands and feet, sweat dripping on the mat, quick flows from pose to pose. A mat with no slippage is an absolute must. After many years of heavy use my trusty Manduka mat finally started to disintegrate. I had to buy a new yoga mat. I read many online reviews and narrowed it down to the Yoloha and one other highly rated mat. I bought both to compare. The Yoloha cork mat is by far the best mat I have ever practiced with. Hands and feet were firmly rooted throughout the entire practice, no slipping, even when super sweaty. The cork absorbs the moisture, so the surface never feels wet or slick. The cork texture feels great on the hands and feet -- the other highly rated mats that are designed to be non-slip had a rubbery or 'chemically' sort of feel for me. I initially hesitated because of the cost, since this is certainly one of the most expensive mats out there. I have no regrets, this mat is well worth the price.

Buy this mat!!! You will not regret it!!!
***Update-after owning this for over a year and a half and I still love this mat and it has not started breaking down with use ranging from 4-6 days a week! I also get tons of compliments about it.*** I love this mat! I have had the same mat for several years and it started deteriorating and felt it was time to upgrade to a new mat. I was doing research as to the top mats with padding and grip being my top concerns when I came across this mat. The reviews were excellent and several articles I found also gave it good reviews so I closed my eyes and ignored the price while hitting the buy button, hoping for the best and that I made the right decision. I know this mat is expensive but so far, I feel it’s worth it and have ZERO buyers remorse. It has a light odor but basically your nose needs to be on the mat to really smell it. I love the size of it. I’m 5’6 and though not tall I would still feel like I was hanging off the standard size mat during certain poses. It’s well padded and grips very well. Oh and it lays flat OUT OF THE BOX! Yes you read that right...I don’t know about everyone else but the ends rolling on my other mat while I was trying to workout was always very distracting and annoying to me. That has not been a problem with this mat from the time I’ve taken it out of the box and every subsequent use (and I roll it back up after every use). And finally, it’s beautiful in its simplicity. The colors are complimentary and not outrageous so as not to distract you during your workout or practice. Plus with all this awesomeness, it’s also eco friendly! Great Job and would absolutely buy again.

Super cheap, not worth it
This mat is really not worth the money. It has a very cheap feel and not enough padding. The worst part is that it started falling apart after a couple weeks!

Grippy, comfortable, beautiful!
I love this mat so much! So many things to love about it - I pulled it out of the box and i immediately tried it out. Nice and grippy and has a little give to it and I love the size, my previous mat was a bit smaller and I'm liking all this space I have now. I just tried it out at a heated vinyasa class too and all the sweat didn't affect the grippiness or stability of my poses at all . It dried out quickly, too. If this mat lasts a couple years or more I will def repurchase another. Also, the note on the seeded paper was a nice touch, can't wait to plant it! thanks, n

Nice mat
Love the look of the mat, and it is very grippy. However, in a hot class with lots of sweat, the mat gets pretty slippery and you have to watch where you place your hands and feet. I keep a towel nearby to blot the sweat puddles, and the mat gets its grip back fairly quickly.

Best Yoga mat ever owned
I love this mat (Unity model) and use it daily! I also bought the cork carry bag to store it and carry it. Before using my mat each yoga session, I sprinkle a little bit of water on the front area of the mat where my hands will be and this provides extra grip. Always roll it up cork-side OUT to prolong the life of the mat. For me, standing on the moist cork is like standing on wet firm beach sand! It smells natural and fantastic too!

Good grip for hot yoga but slips
Ok, please note I only take hot Baptiste yoga so my review is based on the mat in a very hot room. First I purchased the original yoloha mat and when my hands slipped going up to wheel and my hands slid in down dog, I needed to return it. Enter the native mat. It has much better grip for hot yoga and I love the texture compared to the lululemon and jade mats I’ve tried. My problem is this: the underside is THIN and slippery. The original yoloha mat has an amazing nonslip rubber bottom that was solid and great for the practice. The native mat’s bottom is not the same material so it shifts around the floor a bit and slides up or back, and also sometimes bunches up (for instance when I’m going from right side half pigeon to left side), soI have to pull the mat back down to the floor. I thought about returning the mat but my last option would be a liforme or a lululemon and the cork just has such a great feel and smell to it and honestly the grippiness is (usually- not always) great. I just wish they put a quality bottom on this mat. It’s frustrating because this is the more expensive one!! And also, I strained two of my toes going from up dog to down dog with this mat. I had a much cushier mat before this one and the yoloha is more solid and hard, so when I went on my toes from up to down dog (yes, I was putting to much weight on my toes), I strained them. The solid feel of the mat is honestly a good thing - I do love the sturdiness of it and that it doesn’t stretch with me like some other mats, but just be warned that it is more solid so your body parts have to get used to it. PHOTOS: 1- you can see the wear on the top and bottom. This is using the mat for 1 month, 5 days/week in a hot yoga setting 2- so you can see the weird material of the bottom of the mat 3- thinness of mat 4- this is how it bunches in class sometimes and I have to pull it down
