After sone research, I found this is at the time (2022) one of the best performing SSD storage devices for PS5. I would definitely recommend anything from 2TB upwards, as the PS5 is known for not having much memory especially if you’ve come from PS4. Saved games really do take up a load of space (Call of Duty), so it’s key you buy a fairly large SSD so it’s future proof. Installing the SSD is fairly easy. I highly recommend watching some of the install content on YouTube before attempting to avoid any issues.

Got this to expand the profile storage on my original PS5 disc-less console. Install was really simple once I found a YouTube video to show how to get the side panel off. If you have even built your own PC or even upgraded RAM in a laptop you’ll be fine doing this upgrade. It’s painless. The PS5 software recognized the SSD right away when I booted it up, I let it format automatically and made it my default storage location for new games. So basically it’s the right thing for the job and it works great. Much faster, simpler and more useful than the external USB hard drive I have been using up until now for overflow and older games.
