I purchased this small stand alone tank to go with our Waterdrop system that we installed. It comes with all of the parts and pieces that you need to attach it to your system so that your water runs through the RO system and fills up the tank, and in my case, feeds the faucet above as well as the refrigerator. It does allow us to fill a glass of water up much faster than going straight from the RO system because the tank is already filled, and it pulls from the tank quicker than just straight through the RO system. In doing my research, I read that if you’re going to have your refrigerator hooked up to your RO system, you would need a tank to provide more pressure to get the water to your refrigerator for ice and water, so that is the main reason that we bought it and it works quite well. It integrated with our current Waterdrop RO system quite well and quite easily. If working with this type of stuff intimidates you, don’t let that be a deterrent, the 1/4 inch hoses snapped in quite easily to all of the parts and components and they have a little blue clips to hold them in place so no leaking. In other words, it doesn’t take rocket science to put it all together and the instructions are quite simple. The only drawback I found with this particular tank is it has a very small pedestal and does not stand up very well, especially with all the quarter inch hoses attached to it so it tends to be top-heavy. I plan on finding some type of bracket to attach it to to hold it to the side wall so that it doesn’t fall over and roll around underneath the sink. But other than that, I highly recommend it, especially if you have a refrigerator that you want ice and water too.

Imprescindible si tienes un sistema de ósmosis de flujo directa sin depósito. No ocupa nada y el agua sale a tope desde el principio y sin esperas.

I've had a tankless RO system for 2 years now and I've just dealt with the low pressure going to my refrigerator. Finally, I decided to look up a solution and found this item. I decided to take a chance and lo and behold, IT WORKS! I was a bit nervous to cut my line to the refrigerator without know that this will actually work, but I took a chance anyways. I'm happy to say that I now have enough pressure going to my refrigerator from this to fill up the ice maker and make a glass of water before it starts to slow down again. But luckily, by the time it starts to slow now, the RO system is flowing and the water is steady. Previously, when I get water from my refrigerator, the RO system would turn on and then shut off constantly causing the water to just pump out slowly. Now I don't have this problem anymore.
