Great fun for 2–3 year old girls and boys!
I first bought the talking hamster for my 2 year old grandson and he loved it so much, he stated sleeping with it. I actually believe it has improved his vocabulary! I decided to give one to my 2 year old granddaughter ( different family) for. Christmas and amazingly, , she loves it, too! Even her 5 year old brother has been playing with it! I will admit. It’s not the prettiest animal I’ve seen, but it is the most fun ever. If you have a little one who needs a gift, I would recommend this for the top of the list! The price is very reasonable and it is very simple to operate. More than anything, I’m so thankful to have precious grandchildren to buy gifts for! Mine are incredible, how about yours?!♥️♥️♥️

Cute and fun.. but watch out mamas lol
Lord what did I get myself into. This hampered us super cute and does what it says. I got this for my 6mo for Christmas. My 9 year old son loves to play with it as well. This lies the problem lol. I think he likes it more than she does at the moment. It has a high pitched tone as you’d expect and mimics the sounds around it also. Great gift don’t get me wrong but man do my nerves get on edge when my oldest pitches in lol.

Fun toy but don't expect great playback quality
This is so cute but the audio quality is VERY poor and the fur could be nicer, as it's not very soft.

What a BLAST we had with this lil thing!!!
Oh, I know this talking hamster was meant for my grandson, but boy, did we adults have a good time with it as well!! LOL It does repeat EVERY thing you say. And you don't have to have it directly near your face. It records from a good distance. My grandson, once he got it away from us, LOVED IT! He sang to it and his big eyes popped open when he heard the words repeated perfectly! I have to mention, it is VERY sturdy, as well! He's only 2 1/2 and tends to squeeze, bounce and even throw things.....months later, I called and learned talking Hamster is STILL talking!!! It was the most original gift for a boy who has pretty much everything. I highly recommend it. It gives you hours and hours of fun!!

A cute novelty...for as long as it lasts.
This hamster is adorable and my toddler loves it. The voice pitch is VERY high, though, and can be difficult to understand when it repeats children/female voices. Also, I’m disappointed that it’s not very sturdy...my toddler isn’t rough with it but has dropped it from about 12 inches high, and would then start getting buggy. I understand electronics can be fragile by nature, but considering this is a children’s toy I was hoping it would be designed to withstand general child’s play. It also seems to drain batteries very quickly. It’s been fun, but personally I wouldn’t buy this one again.

Hit of the Party!
The only negative I have is that it was smaller than expected but it was a non issue. This little guy could not be any cuter. Even with the abundance of gifts in the room he became the hit of the party. Had kids and adults laughing out loud. Could not be more pleased. And he worked perfectly! Would buy again in a minute! Thank you so much!

Arrived broken.
Arrived broken. Speaking feature didn't really work, it made a robotic whirring. We've had one before so we knew how it was supposed to sound.
