Great addition to our Halo Mega Bloks collection
My 9 year old LOVES Halo, and loves legos and mega bloks now. We've been doing a lot of the Halo sets, and I happened to see after Xmas that they had a bunch of them 40 to 60 percent off, so I grabbed a dozen different ones.As with all the megablok Halo sets, it's done very well and looks great. This is an awesome addition after building the Scorpion tank and is a very nice size.I used to dislike the way things were packaged, unlike Lego kits that have bags numbered and used for specific parts of the build... But I found that ultimately I like the lack of organization since now I've showed my 9 year old how to get all the bags open and start sorting out all the parts into piles so everything is organized and easy to find. I think that, for me, is now a bonus since he's getting really good at sorting things, analyzing different parts that have something in common (such as angled pieces of different sizes and shapes going in separate piles but all together so when he needs some angled piece, he knows what part of the floor to look for) and planning how to space them out so the ones he has to get the most often are within arms reach. That to me was like a lightbulb going off, since I was able to turn the negative into a great teaching tool. Especially with the large sets like the Elephant (almost 1300 pieces to sort and organize) and the new Forward Unto Dawn we have (that is almost 2900 pieces). For a 9 year old, having the colored dots showing exactly where each piece fits is great. It helps for the larger sets since it makes it easy to get each section done. He starts out intimidated by the sheer number of pieces, but as he starts he just focuses on a step at a time and has learned that large things are comprised of smaller things, and that if you take big things in small sections, it's not so overwhelming. Always an important lesson for kids to learn. No missing pieces in our set - but they have a great automated system online where you don't even have to talk to anyone to get the piece shipped out, so it couldn't be any easier to get any missing pieces. Everything fit fine - which is something I've had issue with Mega Bloks a few times, where the raised bumps weren't quite formed right and I had to pull out a knife and trim a bit for a piece to snap right. All in all was a steal for my sale price, and we're very happy with this kit. It looks awesome, and he really enjoys blowing his Covenant Phantom out of the sky and letting the good guys win.

Well crafted and the best quality mega construx I have ever received
Absolutely love the display set and that blue team is finally in my possession, I am especially thankful at how well detailed my figures are as well as how detailed the weapons are (especially the Nornfang sniper rifle) this is an amazing set which stays on my desk forever, along with my equally loved Fire team Osiris. The only discrepancy I will say about this is that there is a very minor imperfection on master chief's helmet but thanks to everyone (especially linda) being so true to their in game counterparts I can let it slide and later fix by repainting his helmet

Another great ODST
This figure is another great ODST figure and the fact that he comes with a drop-pod is even better. The drop-pod itself is buildable and great for play, having a detailed interior and a door that launches off. The figure itself is also really good, with nice printing, though it does rub off a little if it gets a lot of wear and tear over time. That combined with the fact that the flaps at the top of the drop-pod may loosen up and slide up and down over time brings it down to 4 stars, but these problems were more from personal experience which may differ for you. Great price and arrived in just a couple of days. Overall I'm very satisfied with the figure and I'm happy to have added it to my collection.

Excellent Item!
I had never had a Mega Blocks kit before and I was really intrigued looking at the cover of the box of the UNSC Rhino. I was extremely impressed with the fit of the blocks as they were almost as good as Legos. With all of the blocks in this kit a couple hours were required to put together the Rhino. While assembling the Rhino more than once I thought a piece was missing only to find the item after rescanning the remaining parts on the table. However, I was missing two very minor exterior trim pieces on the Rhino but they were not really missed on the finished product. After putting this item together I'm looking forward to build another Halo Mega Bloks item.

Very Cool!
I bought this for my son for his birthday (he is 8). It was between this and the Call of Duty tank. His friend has the CoD already and I wanted to get him something new. I am glad I did cause he loves it. Its a bit tougher to put together but my son loves a challenge. He managed to put it together in about 3 days (spending an hour or two on it each day). Once together it is solid and fun to play with.

My son loves this set
I bought this for my 12 year old Lego fanatic son. This is one of the more complicated sets to put together as opposed to the easy ones, which he has all kinds of complex and easy sets, but my son loves it, he plays awhile takes a break then goes back to it to build some more. I would definitely recommend this to anyone whose child is a Lego fanatic because it is a very nice set that will provide them with hours of entertainment.

Not as displayed.
The Marbling as shown on the figure and the drop pod is not accurate at all. I have quite a large collection of Halo Megas so I know the quality they should be in. Over all , it is a cool display with an ODST ( awesome). The bad:Drop pod extension ( the grey fins above it to simulate slowing down) do not stay up on the pole. They'll simple just slide down to the pod itself. Absolutely terrible design or just lazy manufacturing ( probably this ..GOOD OL CHINA!) So, if anyone else has this issue - use clear scotch tape and wrap around the pole. It will keep the fins up.Second issue - The figure and pod are pretty much flat tan with almost zero marbling as shown in the model here. Not a huge deal but definitely misleading.Third issue - the pod does not open easily on hitting the bottom on the ground. It's quite clumsy lol.Final issue , it was opened when I received it. All pieces are there , but still , wtf is that ?Should you buy it ? If you like ODST and adding to the collection - yes.
