Replace your motor not the dryer
Great company, shipped very fast, everything you need is included. Check the date of your dryer, one of the wheels to hold the belt in place it is better to use the old armature in the bottom of your dryer than trying to use the 2nd wheel. The belt walks off the 2ND wheel, we put the the old armature back on the dryer that held the belt in place and it worked perfectly. This is not an EASY job but it is doable. YOUTUBE has some helpful videos to walk you through the replacement process, I suggest you check it out prior to pulling the old motor. THIS MOTOR SAVED US MUCH $$$!

Maytag medc200xw1 motor replacement
My dryer motor unfortunately stopped working. I messaged the seller to make sure it fit my maytag medc200xw1 electric dryer. The customer service was very knowledgeable and the turnaround time for response was also amazing. They did state that the belt that came with the order was improper, but they gave me the proper model and size for the belt which I was able to get at my local lowes store. If I ever have a problem again, I'm sure to look this seller up and buy from them again

Didn’t quite fit
Got this for my Whirlpool gas dryer, model WGD4815EW3. It’s just a *little* too big and rubs against the drum, so I had to file that corner down a bit. Other than that, it does the job just fine.

Motor Ran for 5 months and burned out
Product was easy to install but still a real pain. It was the first time the dryer had to be disassembled for motor service. I noticed the new motor was much lighter than the original that had run the dryer since 1997. New motor was installed March 1, 2022 and out of service on August 24, 2022.New motor lasted 5 months and much of the epoxy on the windings appear to have burned off shorting the motor. Also noticed the bushings (not bearings) have extreme wear and the motor shaft now wobbles. The debris in the photo is strictly from the motor as the dryer had been totally cleaned before installation of the currently failed motor.I replaced this failed motor with an OEM version from the manufacturer but it was 2.5x more expensive. If it lasts another 24 years it will be worth it. As can be seen the windings are much thinner on the failed motor and the epoxy is charred. My wife was smelling smoke and unplugged the dryer before anything more serious could occur. The motor shorted so badly it would try to autostart itself with the control knob in the off position.
