Didn’t need any to put it on.

Does this hitch have an area or enough room where you can mount a 7 pin wiring connector?

It has no where to mount anything. You must get a bracket that clamps onto it. Take your cover off your bumper and you will see a large area on the left for the plug.

Does it come with hardware?

Yes comes with all mounting hardware I went through and bought some red lock tight just to be extra secure.
