Beautiful
I received this book as a birthday present and enjoyed it so much that I bought a copy for a friend and one for my grand daughter. It is beautifully illustrated with religious art, contains valuable time lines, and highlights key events and important individuals. It is a wonderful addition for everyone's religious library.

Intact well-bound colorful copy
This copy is intact and has colorful rather than faded pictures to interest and delight. It looks like a good intruduction to its topic although I doubt it can tell "everything" you need to know because there is absolutely no substitute for in-depth reading and analysis at various times of one's life of the Bible itself.

Everything You Need to Know About the Bible
Purchased for a reference book for my wife and I as we are involved in the ministry. Also is good for our grandkids to research topics as well as giving ideas/topics for my sermons. Not in depth but topical background of Biblical history and characters.

Easy to read and informative
Easy to read and informative. Loads of images and historical paintings. It's a little heavy on the New Testament however.

Great book- too bad the pages are falling out before I can get to the end.
The content inside the book is great. You get a summary of all of the important bible stories, that's a easy to read and understand. The beautiful vibrant pictures add to the stories. My only complaint is the the book is poorly made, and is falling apart before I can read all of the stories. Clumps of pages are coming apart from the binding. It's a shame that such a wonderful book is so poorly constructed.

What a beautiful book!
I purchased this book when it was on sale and arrived fairly quickly. The book's condition was brand new, with all the pages intact. There are beautiful pictures in this as well. A great Time-Life title!
