The BEST sling for a child's broken collarbone! This sling was a lifesaver after my 6-year-old son, who is about 48 lbs, broke his collarbone on a trampoline. We tried three other styles of slings, and none of them provided the support he needed. This sling fit perfectly—even better than expected! It was so easy to put on and take off, which made a difficult situation a little less stressful. The material is also easy to clean, which is a huge plus with a young child. Most importantly, it kept his arm completely immobile, which I'm convinced helped his injury heal much faster. I highly, highly recommend this product to any parent in a similar situation. It is the only sling you will need!

Good fit

My 8 year old broke his collarbone and was given a sling by the ER that was too big. I ordered this and it was great for my son. He said it was comfortable and he loved the blue print. On/off was easy enough, and the ability to adjust the location of the shoulder strap was helpful. I wish there was a way to make it smaller around the body as my son is slender. When I wrapped the torso portion around him, the Velcro would scratch him a little bc it wrapped too far if I made it tight enough. Would love a shoulder pad option for comfort around the neck. The wrist holding strap unattached and I had to sew it back on, so durability was an issue.

This thing is great. My son fractured his upper arm and we've tried a few different slings. He can wear this sling to bed, minus the shoulder strap which is easily removed. His doctor recommended a sling like this for sleeping, and was surprised when I said that I had already ordered one and it was in the mailbox at home waiting for us. That night, I ordered a second one in case we need to wash the first. Revision: After about a month of wearing the sling, the hook and loop fabric weakened and wouldn't work. We had to use duct tape to keep it together. Still, it is a really good design that kept my son's arm quite stable.

Upper arm hold is either behind him or his hand is in the wrist immobilizer... chest can't be tightened to much or both wrist and arm hold move. Maxed out on shoulder adjustment to be as tight as possible and does not lift his shoulder as it needs for recovery. He is of average 7 year old boy size, but it fits mom great... an average size 36 year old woman. Wouldn't recommend for peds at all.... very disappointed we waited for this.

I am so happy I took a chance on this product. My daughter fractured her collarbone and was given an immobilized sling that was too big for her. She's has a thin body type at 5'2 and it fit her perfectly! I was afraid it would be too small because the reviews were of children aged much smaller than she is now. I'd recommend others to give it a try.

The doctor at our local ER recommended that we buy this for our daughter’s broken collarbone b/c they did not have anything that would fit her properly. It is easy to put on and take off and keeps her arm nicely immobilized. She is 5 years old and it was a tiny bit big for her, but we made it work.

My son broke his collarbone bone and the normal sling would let his arm swing and cause him alot of pain. He became scared to move because as soon as that arm swang it caused pain. I looked at other options to keep his arm against his body. Got this one and he got up and started moving around right away! The reassurance for him that his arm wasn’t going to move made a huge difference! I gave it 4 starts as this is made big! He is 7 and a little guy. It fits but the distance for arm and wrist would be better if it was adjustable. But overall love it and highly recommend for collarbone’s stability after fracturing. Give your kid some reassurance so they can try and return to their normal way of life as much as possible!

It was a little bigger then I had expected. But all the adjustable pieces helped my little guy when he needed to use his hand but not move his arm.
