upgrade for my old computer
I use this one for replacing my old sata supporter.

If You're Using Legitimate HP Drives, These Will *Probably* Work...
I gave this three stars only because I don't feel the issue is the caddy manufacturer's fault. I purchased these to use with Seagate Enterprise 6TB drives on our new MP350 Gen9 server; however, HP has (apparently) created brand proprietary hardware that will only work with their servers. If you do not purchase HP specific drives, no third-party caddy will make another manufacturer's drive work (beginning with Gen8).In the end, we were forced to go with HP branded 4TB drives and caddies. The biggest drawback, other than reduced drive capacity, is the HP drives only have a 1-year warranty whereas the Seagates have a 5-year. Sounds like HP is not at all confident in their hardware. We've been an HP shop for just over 10 years. I'm very disappointed in HP for taking such an Apple-esk route.

The Carrier is not recognized by HPE system
HPE system does not recognize carrier, thus the system reports degraded state, while HPE hard drives are fine, but having flashing amber light and non functional drive status light is disheartening.
