Wheel building essential
It is a little pricey, but I don't care. If I am going to spend the money on nice hubs/spokes/rims/nipples and the time to build wheels, it is worth the extra to do it right the first time and have a nice, well built, durable wheel.

More than enough in here to satisfy your needs
The container is about the size of half a shotglass, and contains just as much. But dont get that sticker shock until you actually use the product.I'm a heavyset guy, so one of the problems that comes with everyday biking is that extreme loads are dealt on the upper spokes, then compress on the bottom half. now of course that is typical with all spokes, but with the heavier weight, the problem of loose spokes is exacerbated. I keep my spokes tensioned at 26 Kgf (Kilograms Force), but after a few rides, the bike is back on the rack. This spoke prep acts less like glue and more like gum when dried. (give it 20min to dry, and about an hour before riding) The gum texture keeps the spoke in place during movement when vibrations are a factor, but still has enough give for when you need to work on the spokes.And thank you Niagara Cycle! This item not only beat amazon's estimated delivery date by 3 days, but even beat the USPS by a day (according to tracking).

I'm a novice but my wheels turned out great with this product
It works as required but it is very expensive. The jar is large and usage per wheel is minimal so I expect it to last me my whole life as long as it doesn't dry out or something. Don't really understand the negative review posted here. My instructions clearly stated that you allow it to dry on the threads before assembling the wheel. Didn't have any problematic spoke twist and in the finished wheels, no telltale pinging of spokes which would indicate spoke twist. I'm a novice but my wheels turned out great with this product.
