Works great for my Blackjack 12-9 Bowie. Extreme value! The vinyl coating I could potentially see peeling over-time, depending on how roughly it is used. For extended-period storage of a carbon steel blade this works great compared to the stock leather sheath supplied with my knife, which could potentially wick and trap moisture—not good for non-stainless!
