The color is a deep, rich purple, but not quite plum. It's like velvet and the filling feels silky. This is a glorious comforter and I'm glad I took the chance. My son has a comforter by this company that I love and I was going to buy one too, but then I saw this one. I love all things fuzzy, so had to try it. OMG! This will be the softest thing in your life! Buy one. Any color. Not kidding. I bought the full/queen for my twin because I like it to go to the floor, so I can't say how well it fits the appropriate size. But you want this. You really, really want this.Update: While still the softest thing I own, it has not held up well. I have dogs and cats that are not boisterous on my bed. They just get up there to lay down. This little activity has torn small holes in it everywhere. If you have pets, don't buy this. It will break your heart to see the holes. It's the warmest, most wonderful comforter, but it just can't hold up to daily use in a house with pets. My son has one by the same company, only with sleeping bag-type material and it has held up much better. His has no holes at all, so when I can I'll buy one like his. I'll forever miss this soft, gorgeous comforter, tho. I don't even have the heart to toss it out because I love it so much.

So comfortable

This comforter is awesome! I was trying to look at the review pictures for a bunch of other comforters because we all know the stock photos are nothing like the real thing then I found this one and knew I was buying it. It’s like a soft felt material and it’s thick and warm! If your looking for an inexpensive warm conforter this is it. It’s plenty thick and soft and even just laying on top of it is a pleasure. The blue color is perfect too and the shams match in material and color. Its hard to get a good picture of how thick it is so I took a picture of one of the corners. Even if it falls apart I’ll buy another because unlike the amazon complainers that don’t take price point into consideration, I know this thing only cost $45 for a very comfy comforter. Would absolutely recommend it over the other comforters in the price range if you looking for a warm cozzy comforter.

The blanket arrived on time. The outer packaging was ripped up but the vacuum seal was still in tact. The blanket completely covered my 12 inch mattress on all sides without any issues. I did notice that there was stuffing coming out of one of the corners when it was unfolded. For that I took away a star. The color of the comforter is definatley a dark purple. I placed my purple contigo water bottle against a pillow for referance. If you are looking for a heavy weight comforter this isn't it. It is very light weight. In Az it does not get very cold so this will definatley work. I'm not sure how durable this is. It is very thin. I might be returning it.

For the last two years I’ve bought 4 of these in white. Dogs damages two of them so had to buy two more for my daughter and myself. These are the best blankets/comforter ever. Super soft, if it’s cold in your house it keeps you warm and if it’s hot in your house it still does the trick because it’s like a blanket. Please don’t stop making these. I always read reviews and at first it didn’t seem to have the highest ratings so I was concerned. But it’s worth the money, it’s durable, and it’s awesome. The white one is beautiful! Looks so great with a lot of pillows.

I just ordered like 5 different king sized comforter sets from amazon and this one is hands down my favorite. it is without doubt the softest and most snuggly comforter I've ever owned. it's not too big and heavy, more like a medium weight comforter. it fits my standard king size bed nicely, definitely isnt too short, length or width wise...there is plenty of blanket to go over all 4 sides of the bed. I got it in the purple color, which seems to be true to the picture - it is like a pimp purple lol but goes great with my black bedframe and furniture. the pictures people have posted of this comforter dont even begin to show how freakin soft this thing is. BUY IT! ull be soooo glad you did! I havent tried washing it yet as I just received it, so I cant speak as to how it holds up in the washer, but honestly, even if it were to tear to shreds I would just buy another one, that's how much I love this thing 😄

I bought this blanket set for my son, he's 8. He LOVES it as do me and his dad. It is super soft, and I'm so serious when I say its so soft. Its kinda heavy and has ALOT of static so we don't tend to use the pillow cases when sleeping but they are just as soft and look good when the bed is made. But it is super warm and very durable. So it's a good buy versus normal Shera lined blankets, quilts, or throws as those are very hard to maintain but have similar qualities. If you're considering this set as an option, buy it.

This blanket is the comfiest blanket I have ever had! It kept me cool in the heat and warmed me up when it was cold out. This blanket is fantastic and comfy with only one flaw. It has been almost a year and there are little holes developing all over. I have one slit that is large enough for my foot to fit through, they cant be seen unless you lay the blanket out. It is just kind of annoying. Overall happy with the blanket, but the holes are bothering me too much. Hence the 3 stars. If not for the holes then this would be 5 stars. Maybe I was just too rough with it.
