Wooster 4153-1 1/2 Ultra/Pro Extra-Firm Lind Beck 4153 Paint Brush, 1-1/2 in Width, 1.5 Inch, Purple

I don't know when I bought the first one, but I have never bought any other kind since. It is great for painting trim work. I can make a line as thin as a pencil and for my customers, that is almost a necessity. I am very particular about how my work looks as are my clients. What really gets me is why all the paint stores in my area have let the Wooster brushes and roller cover supplies lapse. That's why I have come to Amazon to buy the Wooster products I need.

I am an avid room painter - just something I love to do, and I really need an excellent brush because I never tape. These Wooster brushes make my jobs so SO easy! I am able to cut the top and bottom of every wall in a perfect line with no tape. These brushes have the best bristles and exactly the right thickness and stiffness. I have 3 different sizes and I absolutely swear by these brushes - no other brand meets the standards that I like. I just finished painting every room in a 2000 sq ft home using only these brushes to do every cutting job, touch-up job and cabinetry job I needed to do. I rolled the walls with standard rollers but for anything requiring a brush, it's Wooster and no other.

Have used Wooster brushes for over 40 years with excellent performance and have never been disappointed.

I do quite a bit of painting in my home and I know the impact of a good brush on getting great results. Especially when painting trim or cutting in. I've been disheartened lately because even though I was spending a lot on brushes and taking care to clean promptly, I didn't feel like the brushes were performing or holding up well at all. Then I bought this brush...I've already used and cleaned it close to ten times and it's still as good as new. It leaves a nice clean edge consistently, even after you have been using brush for an extended time. I find that many others get fat and bloated with paint no matter what I try to do to prevent this. Concerning cleaning, the time to clean this compared to other brushes of it's size it cut in half. I always struggle to get all the paint out at the top where it dries even with a good paint comb, but the material these bristles are made out of and how it easily sheds paint wet or dry during cleaning can be compared to the way non stick cookware is easily cleaned of food when washing. I'm ordering in all sizes I like to have on hand and never looking back!

Outstanding brush. I can hold an edge like a razor blade. No tape (it just bleeds under the edge anyway). What a pleasure to use. Wooster, you have a new customer!

Works brilliantly--very easy to make crisp, perfect lines. Worth every penny. Definitely recommend using a brush like this for edges and forget the painters tape altogether.

I've been using this same brush for months with regular use and it still is in great shape. Hard to use with my high gloss paint but that could just be the quality of that particular paint. I've tried a lot of different big name brushes at various price ranges and this one is the best.

Worked very well for painting in tight places, such as around windows.
