Ampper Clip On Security Mirror, Convex Cubicle Mirror for Personal Safety and Security Desk Rear View Monitors or Anywhere (3.35", Round)

This product is great and I only have one complaint about it. Which is that while you can bend it in a half circle like demonstrated on the picture that is about the extent of its bending ability and it does not hold any type of complex shape. For example it would not stay in the shape of an S or trying to bend it into a circle. With that begin said I gave it a 5 star review because it does exactly what I wanted it to do. It attaches to the back of my computer and I can get a decent enough angle to see when people are walking up behind me at work. The mirror is very clear and for comparison size is as big as the bottom of a 32oz Hydro Flask bottle. It was heavier than expected and does not feel cheap. The clamp is really strong and after using it for a couple months I have not had any issues with it falling, granted as you can see in the photo I have it on top of something not clamped to the side. It did come with some bedazzled sleeves for the clamp that were elastic which I got rid of. Overall great little mirror for work!

I’m in a wall facing cubicle at work and I wear noise cancelling headphones. This is perfect for seeing if someone has walked up behind me. Easy to clip on anywhere. Good quality, I’ve had it for over 2 years now and it’s held up the entire time.

Purchased this Ampper Clip on Security Mirror for my work cubicle so I can see the door from my chair. The receptionist frequently leaves her desk during the day and having this mirror hung on my cubicle, helps me from having the keep sliding my chair to see the front office door. I can just look to the left and through the mirror see who enters the reception area without having to get up or roll my chair to see who is there. The installation was very easy and the visiility is just right. It would be an added bonus if the mirror size came in different sizes for different areas. The plastic clip is well made and is easy to clip onto the cubicle top. The pricing is reasonable.

Like many people right now, I'm working from home. I'm sitting at a desk in our makeshift office, which is our dining room. My wife kept walking in through the door behind me. I wouldn't hear her enter the room because I have earbuds in, listening to music or podcasts. I decided I wanted a rear view mirror so she didn't startle me by walking in behind me anymore. The quality of materials and construction is good. The clip is strong and holds well, but with modern computer monitors, that don't have any frame or bezeled edge around the screen, you can't really clip the mirror on the monitor. I had to mount it on the stand. The arm of the mirror mount is flexible, but somewhat rigid. It holds the position well, but it lacks a ball and joint pivot at the base near the clip, which limits the positions you can use. Because of this I have it mounted further back behind the monitor than I would like. Not a deal breaker, but it wasn't ideal.

Great little mirror. My back faces the door in my office so it's nice to see who's walking up behind me.

Summary: Decent mirror. Stem not as flexible as you might imagine. Clamp is perhaps too strong. The reflective disk is very good. The ball mount upon which the mirror is attached offers only a few degrees of flexibility, and if you exceed it you're likely to break the glue that holds the mirror to the mount. (Just glue it back on.) The stem is not a flexible as you might imagine. You could not bend it into a circle, for instance. You'll likely just be able to make a "U", which is sometimes enough, and sometimes isn't. The stem attaches to the clamp in a fixed manner that doesn't pivot or allow the stem to be rotated. This will limit your options. The clamp is seriously strong and I was not able to attach it to my monitor, for instance, as it was putting some significant stress on the monitor's plastic frame.

Mirror works perfect. I have it clamped on my computer monitor so I can see what’s going on behind me and it’s flexible.

Very handy spherical mirror that clips anywhere. It is well built. The clip is strong. The flexible neck is very rugged and solid. Not weak or floppy, Was quite surprised at the build quality for the price.

Ich arbeite von zuhause aus. Den Schreibtisch habe ich umgestellt. Früher war mein Blick zur Tür. Doch damit blickte ich den ganzen Tag auf eine Tür in den Gang hinaus, währenddessen ich auch einen Blick ins Grüne (auf Büsche/Bäume) haben hätte können. Also habe ich den Schreibtisch um 90° gedreht und kann während der Arbeit oder während eines Telefonates oder auch mal, um kreative Gedanken/Ideen/Lösungen für ein Problem zu finden, auf Büsche, Bäume, Vögel (die in den Büschen und Bäumen auch mal sitzen) blicken. Ist ja sehr viel angenehmer, entspannt zwischendurch. Der Nachteil bisher war: Die Tür ist jetzt hinter meiner linken Schulter. Die Klemme vom Spiegel habe ich am Monitor anbringen können. Wenn jetzt meine Partnerin zur Tür hereinkommt, dann kann ich das im Spiegel wahrnehmen - vorher bin ich immer wieder mal erschrocken, wenn ich in der Arbeit vertieft war oder wenn ich das Headset am Kopf hatte, um z.B. im Hintergrund konzentrationsfördernde oder motivierende/pushende Musik oder Binaureal Beats oder ... höre. Zusammenfassend: Den Preis wert. Ja, leider ein China-Produkt, doch wenn's so ist und ich keine Alternative aus EU/Europa finde, muss ich diese Herkunft wählen. Lieferung erfolgte wie angekündigt (ja, dauerte ein paar Tage, ist ja auch eine Strecke ...). Somit: Klare Kaufempfehlung.
