A sneaky must have in your spice repertoire!

We're not remotely Indian, so my family gets a bit frustrated with it, but hey. They are welcome to move out. Anyway, because I live in a remote corner of Exactly Nowhere, USA, and it's literally two hours' drive to the nearest Indian market (Patel Bros, which is awesome), I have to buy a lot of my whole spices and flours and stuff online. I tend to default to Kani brand because so far they have not let me down, and I do see they are a major brand when I make the drive to Patel Bros or even H-Mart (which has half an Indian aisle).So, realistically, I can't tell the difference between a teaspoonful of these in a recipe or a teaspoonful of some other brand's kalonji seeds. So, "get them" says I, because at least you know they will arrive.

I’m loving these little seeds. I read that they were a good addition to a healthy diet. I’ve been sprinkling them into cooked dishes, on my salads and on my avocado toast and it adds a subtle flavor.

I like this product for my hair. I put the seeds in spray bottle of warm water. Let it sit overnight. Shake it up and spray on hair to moisten, before applying oils and wrapping. I use every night before bed. My hair is growing thicker, stronger, and shinier.

Gets used everyday to grind up in coffee for health benefits.

All around good experience buying from Rani. To give you perspective, the container of 3 ounces is about 3.5" tall and has a 2.25" diameter. The container has an inner seal and that is inside a heavy-duty cardboard box. I used the seeds for a specialty bread and was pleased with the quality.

Works great when sprinkled in hummus dip. This is the only thing I'm taking that makes me think it's actually doing something for my health.
