Timberland Women's Banfield Mid Lace Boot

These are adorable! I ordered my normal shoe size, 6.5, and they fit well. I have very narrow feet and calves so it's hard for me to find a pair of boots that don't look huge on my legs, but these were perfect. They're very comfortable and sturdy as well. I can wear them all day without my feet hurting.

I love these boots! I normally wear a 7 or 7.5 regular but after reading other reviews I got an 8 wide which is more like a regular width. They fit well (a tiny bit long since I sized up but it's not a problem) and I can wear regular socks with them. I wore these boots right out of the box for an active 11 hour shift at work and had no problems. They are well made, a little stiff at first but I think they're going to be perfect in a few wears. The soles have a nice grip to them which is a nice change from my cheap combat boots which have smooth soles.

Update Aug 6th, 2019 While the treads on the heal have deteriorated faster than i would deem worthy of the brand name. The treads on the rest of the shoe and the leather has held up remarkably well from 3 years of almost DAILY use. Seriously, barring the whole heel thing, these have been a second skin to me. Still love them. It saddens me that Timberlands has been slow to manufacture more or make a new line that still has this great moto look and has a zipper. Update 0ct 15, 2018 It's been about a year of these and they have worn out pretty well, though in places i was not expecting. The heel treads have separated from the bottoms on both shoes (although a little guerrilla glue fixed them back up), and the black on the wooden heels rubbed off a fair bit as well (but i took a black sharpie to them and they look good as new.) The leather has held up great! Still pristine black,and quite flexible with no cracking, just mild creasing from daily use. The laces, eyelet, and zippers are still great too. If they stay the course, i'll still have these same pair of boots come this time next year and fixing to rebuy then. Nov 17, 2017 I've only been wearing these for a day thus far, and people are right. They are slender and i would recommend upsizing. I am pretty much a women's 9 across all shoe styles, but the other reviews had me doubting my standard... i bought these at a 9.5 and they are indeed a slim boot. They start off really stiff as well, but after a bit a breaking in they are loosening up a bit after a day of light walking around an office and strolling to the train station. The black is a deep, rich black. The treads grip nicely (no fear of slipping on wet pavement). I like them a lot, i'll try to update after i've had them a few months. I'm fairly careless with my shoes and my previous Steve Maddens broke down after a fair bit after nearly a year of consistent wear (which ain't all that bad considering their overall quality). We'll see, so far so good..

After 5 weeks of use, the sole is coming off magically after the 30 day return period. Timberland was at one time high quality -- either their quality has changed drastically or Amazon is selling defective items without marking them as such. Stay away from these boots. Disgusted with Amazon and Timberland

really love the look of these boots! they are tight at first but mold to foot after a few wears....patience! I'm always a perfect 7, so I went with that. update: I bought another pair in Rust color 7 WIDE. Fit is more comfortable with little break in. Love 'em! beautiful, classy boot!

i, like many other reviewers, wanted to love these boots. for a short bit i did, but the deficiencies outweighed the positives. if this is a wide width, they need to reevaluate that term. is that why these timberlands are available on amazon? one of the reasons i was willing to take a chance on $150 boots was the brand, but these did not seem representative of timberland quality. still, i was willing to attempt to break these in, even though my wide foot overhung the sole of the shoe. they were reasonably comfortable and perfectly quiet, as only real leather can be (i had been looking for this type of short boot for some time and others were fake leather and very noisy!). unfortunately, i returned them after 3 wearings, as the heel had started coming loose from the sole. while this is something i probably could have fixed with some gorilla glue, for the cost of these boots, i shouldn't have to. i might try timberland again in the future, but only if i can find a story in which to try them on. i typically wear an 8.5 (US) and i ordered a 9, based on other reviewers indicating that they ran a little small. i agree with that assessment.

Stiff at first but softening and relaxing by the 3rd wearing. These run narrow. I bought the wide width, based on reviews, for my medium width foot and they fit comfortably in non-thick socks. Because I liked these boots, I bought a 2nd pair for my daughter as a gift. Within a week, both heels had separated. I returned the boots and received replacements. The replacement pair lasted one month before the same problem occurred: separating heels. Timberland - whats happened to your quality control???

Excelente Producto. El precio era increible para no adquirirlas. Se recibio antes de lo previsto. Perfectamente empaquetada. Lo unico que encuentro malo es la tintura de la "piel"... Se desgasta al uso, con las pisadas se marca donde la flexion natural del pie sucede. Sin embargo le da un toque diferente. Recomendado.
