I guess you could say I am hooked on tis series. I but each season and soon I will have to do a bing weekend of 'when calls the heart.Need the tissue box though.wonderful series, actors, and story. start at the beginning and you wont be disappointed.

I've enjoyed this season very much. I have the complete collection. I would have given it a 5 star rating but I have an issue with some era portrayals.#1. School teachers would be dressed modestly. They wouldn't wear low cut dresses or blouses. Very distasteful.#2. A school teacher would not be acting seductively or kissing in the public square. Again, not era.#3. A frontier town would dress more rustic. If anyone has seen the "Love comes Softly" series it shows a more accurate display of how a small frontier town would dress.The "When calls the Heart" series is very modernized. I'm always looking for shows that have Christian values that we can enjoy without cringing in embarrassment.I very much hope this issue will be corrected in future seasons. Aside from that, I very much enjoy the story lines. I like the way the town works together on issues and care for one another when there is a need. Even when outsiders try to ruin what they have and take over this small town, it always gets resolved. Someone makes a mistake or bad judgement or choices, they turn & are restored. Lots of redemption and 2nd chances. Lots of love and good faithful friendships. I like that.Clean up the costume & era issues & I would definitely rate it a 5 star series.

This features one of my favourite TV shows, but I so enjoy being able to watch whenever I want.

My wife loves this which you cannot get in PAL, but my DVD player is region free so this is fine.

It's good for the most part, not as good as the first ones Janette Oke put out, with this one what spoils it is Elisabeth and Luca keep chewing one anothers lips nearly everytime they meet.
