Works as expected but clearly plastic not leather

I needed some clipboards and these seemed high quality and stylish, they look the part but they don't perform as expected.The clipboards look nice, the PU leather feels stylish, etc. but the backing just isn't as firm as I want or need it to be. I'm used to wood clipboards which offer a firm backing, this just didn't have that same feel.For this price, I expected better so I would not recommend these to others if they care about a firm surface for writing. If you just are about how it looks though, these will fit the bill. I can't speak to their durability, etc. either but they seem well made.

I was hoping for a more premium feel.The PU is on the thinner side and feels more plasticy that leathery IMO.Very sharply finished exterior side, not pleasant to hold.The finish is not perfect with some blemishes and discoloration.The "storage bag" got loose and misshapen soon after using it.Not sure if the value is fully there.They do work and look OK at first glance but would not warrant a premium price.
