Perfect Fit
The one that came with my Dyson lasted for 3 years prior to the plastic clip breaking. That part isn't included in the 5 year warranty. After reading the various reviews, that clip appears to be a weak point so no surprise it isn't included in the warranty. This part was very easy to install.

Perfect replacement part for my 8 yr old DC50
Ok so while no one can (or should) enjoy purchasing parts for their vacuum, I have to admit that it's exciting to purchase parts for my Dyson at a reasonable cost. This fit perfectly on my 8 year old DC50, bottom closes firmly, and the canister is easy to remove and clean.
