The clock is really cute for Victorian, Farmhouse/country, Shabby Chic etc. But I repeatedly asked their customer service if the clock has a back light or does it glow or light up for nighttime. Never received an answer as I was loving their clock styles but needed one that would have a luminous look to see the time at night and after 3 emails and no responses, I took a chance on buying one. Sadly, I had to return it as it was too small to read or see the time on the bureau about 4 feet away. I even contacted the maker directly and thought it was poor customer service that they couldn't even respond to my several emails. I did return it, but it would be nice if this Nikki clock company came out with dials that glow or have a luminous background.

This clock stands up well. It's very small and unique.

I really wanted to love this clock. Unfortunately, there's a plastic, slightly-curved plastic cover over the front (imitation glass?). The curved surface causes even a dim room light to reflect off it. You can't really see the hands or the numbers well unless you're right next to it. Priced WAY too high. Impossible to remove the plastic; I tried.
