Solid 7 String Pick up
I've had an Ibanez seven string sitting around for the last 10 years. Why? Cuz the pick ups that came with it were rediculously muddy. I remember reading a review of the guitar after the fact and agreeing that the only thing it worked with was Nu-Metal guitar lines where the riffs were hard to really hear anyway.Well, that made for a crappy guitar for 90% of what I want to play. I stuck these pups in, and suddenly the guitar is a blast! They're slightly hotter than the old pick ups, but WAY more clear. The clarity means a world of difference for chording with the low B string, and now my high notes moving up the neck actually sing! It just sounds good! The Neck pick up is also almost bluesy in that its warm, and with the tone pot dialed back, can actually make this more than a Rhythm monster. If I'd known pick ups like this existed for less than 100 bucks, I'd have bought these years ago! Now the question is if I'll add a series/parallel switch...Side note, only negative was that the bracket of the pick ups were bigger than the pick up holes for my guitar, so I had to bend in the corners to get them in for a snug fit. Thankfully, with how good they sound, I don't plan to pull them out, so, I'm not mad.

For 18USD why not?
These pups sound good. They are NOT high opuput which I feel like they mentioned listing the D.C. Resistance. What they do do is really tighten up the low notes especially on the 6th and 7th strings. Are they Seymour Duncan invaders? Noooooooooooo. They're not. They do prove however to me that the larger pole pieces make a difference

Seymour who? E.M.geez?
Sound better than most overpriced passive humbuckers from major brands. Even better than the active EMG's I have in one of my guitars.

Not bad
These are way better than the stock pickups, but I was hoping for more bottom.
