This set of two matching stoneware bowls has a stylized bamboo motif that is carved into the interior of each bowl that has been filled with colored black and green colored clay slip and scraped smooth using an ancient Japanese and Korean technique called mishima. The exterior of each bowl has been glazed with a turquoise glazed and fired in a reduction kiln. Sold as a set, but each bowl has a unique design and glaze characteristics. Bowls are dishwasher, microwave, and food safe. Each bowl measures 6" in diameter and is 4.5 inches tall. Holds roughly 20 fluid ounces of 2 1/2 cups of liquid.
